What an amazing venue. Everything is so different. Whenever we visit Tucson from the UK we make time to go to the desert museum. The exhibits are amazing -we love to see animals in as natural environment as possible. They have huge enclosures and seem so at home. Animals and plants are so unique - we love to see everything... More

The Sonoran Desert National Monument is a great place to explore the desert. There are a couple of easy hiking trails that takes you through some magnificent cacti areas. This was not my first visit to the Sonora Desert Monument but every time I visit I learn and see more. Anyone visiting this area should not miss this marvelous attraction. It is a great place for families to visit and experience the desert and animal and plant life peculiar to the desert. More

The museum is a great experience all the way from taking in everything to simply taking a wonderful walk along the desert paths with so much to see. The entire Museum is set up for all ages. I took my parents (dad with a walker), and they were able to enjoy the entire experience.
