My wife & I took a 52 mile one way boat ride on Lake Powell to Rainbow Bridge. The landscape along the lake was breathtaking. My wife got some spectacular photos, the best of which were reflections when she caught the angle of the sun just right.

we rented kayaks at antelope point marina. there weren't a lot of staff around so we did have trouble trying to figure out where to rent the kayak so that took a while. eventually we got two double kayaks and turned left out of the marina and headed for antelope canyon. it was a beautiful route. we paddled slowly for...

We've found nothing to compare with a houseboat vacation at Lake Powell. Think of the Grand Canyon full of water with all those canyons and formations reflected in the deep blue of the sky. It is silent and awesome as you float in your houseboat throught the massive center of the Lake or wind your way into the narrow canyons...

We love to go to Lake Powell and I have gone many times. Rent a Houseboat out of Bullfrog Marina and drive it until you find a canyon where you can park it. It is so big you can usually find somewhere that nobody else is. It is beautiful there and has many cliffs of red rock and sand. It...

6 friends, 2 bass boats, 50+ foot houseboat, weeklong fishing trip out of Wahweap. The natural beauty of the lake is awe inspiring. You can find places to stop and be the only boats in the area for the entire trip,or you can search out more popular areas and share with like minded adventurers. A great trip and lots of...

We rented a high speed pontoon boat that was plenty fast for skiing and tubing, yet comfortable enough for us to spend the entire day on the lake. Lake Powell is okay for fishing, but the real prize is to tour the canyons and sightsee this incredibly beautiful lake. Next time we will get a houseboat and sleep on the...

most bits you can swim in but places like horseshoe bend you cannot because it is like 200 feet below the red rock
A Lake Powell houseboat adventure had been on our "bucket list" for some time so we booked a boat with another couple the first week in October from the Bullfrog Marina. The weather was lovely and the scenery spectacular. The fact that it was the end of their season may have contributed to the down side of our experience. Upon...

Very much enjoyed the Canyons Adventure Cruise out of Wahweap Marina. Leisurely cruise past marinas with huge houseboats, past unusual rock formations, and up narrow canyons. Nice way to see the lake if you don't have or want to rent your own boat. It can be very hot on the top deck if sitting in the sun, and you can't...
