For sure one of photographers dream vista points. Quite hard to reach from Page/Arizona in a 2 hours ride, a 4 wheeler is necessary as the last 3 miles are really off road. But if the weather is nice which is not so seldom in Arizona you will be awarded with a spectacular sunset scenery. Really worth the efforts to... More

Seeing Antilope canyon using a kayak was a very nice experience. I strongly recommend it if you happen to visit Page and lake Powell, but keep in mind the following, *start off early cause the sun is extremely hot (so don't forget sun screen and hat), *remember that you will get wet, so dress appropriately, *it takes a long time... We just returned from a week on Lake Powell onboard a houseboat rented from Aramark at Wahweap Marina. There were two families, a total of 9 people. We rented a 59' Platinum XL houseboat, and a 19ft powerboat, along with a tube and skis. Lake Powell is amazing. The water temperature and cleanliness is the best part. The scenery is... More

Be careful when renting a boat from this place. I reserved a boat approximately 3.5 weeks before the July 4th weekend, 2014. The rental was supposed to start at 8am and go to 6pm. We arrived promply at 8am to find the doors locked. At approximately 810am I saw someone moving around in the shop and she came to greet... More

Even just driving towards this man made lake is pure visual joy. Does not show it is man made. Waking up every morning to this fantastic view was great. Clear water and it is a small boat crusing paradise. So glad we had the opportunity to spend time here. The beach is a bit rocky but also has sandy parts.

There is a new Marina at Lake Powell and it has a nice boat tour of the nearby Antelope Canyon. You can also rent houseboats, watercraft, or ski the tow line in the Marina. We did the boat tour and it is short (less than 2 hours) and sweet Not crowded Knowledgeable captian. Good boat.

After several hours of visiting lower and upper antelope canyon, we were hot and dusty and ready to cool off. So, we took a quick ride up to the Antelope Point marina area. We were happy to find a swimming area. It is a bit of a walk down a rocky path, but it is worth it. Just beware of... More

Experienced a houseboat rental on Lake Shasta-- somewhat concerned about our rental on Lake Powell. Surprise--the boat was perfect for 4 adults in the two bed rooms and the 5 children in sleeping bags on the upper deck. Good orientation prior to launch.Very friendly staff and helpful. Port engine would not start after first anchorage. Radio contact with Wahweap Boat... More

Be ready for a confusing, long day of unloading your vehicle to get onto a houseboat rental that is tired and lacking upkeep. Waited over 45minutes to get assistance from the attendants. The introduction and instruction of our Houseboat was minimal and fast. Make sure you test everything before leaving. The Houseboat was old & dirty. The generator needed manual... More

We made a quick stop at Lake Powell before heading to Page to visit Antelope Canyon. We went down to the beach, which had beautiful red sand, but there were some kind of extremely sharp weed/burrs buried everywhere. If visiting the beach I'd suggest bringing a pair of shoes. The water looked kind of oily from all the boats so... More
