We rented a Houseboat from Wahweap Rentals and it exceeded our expectations in every way. All of the staff at the Marina were very helpful in planning our 4 day trip. I am passing on my Houseboat Wisdom in hopes that you will have the same GREAT experience: We rented the 46' Expedition and it was perfect for (4) guests.... More

Spent my 25th annual houseboat week on LP- leaving Wahweap marina in early June. Lake water level rose almost 3 feet during the week- requiring daily anchor line tightening. Still one of the world's most beautiful places: like being in the bottom of the Grand Canyon-- but on a nice house boat with all the amenities of home. Although water... More

My 14 year old daughter and I had a wonderful two hour trek with Sara. My daughter does a lot of riding and I ride once a year on holiday, but both of us were matched with lovely horses which have been highly trained by Sara. The pre-trek info and trial in the corral was very useful. Then out on... More

We rented a powerboat for one day on the lake for a total cost of about $500. It was very much worth it, as this was one of the best days I've ever had. The canyons on this lake are amazing beyond belief. Jaw dropping surprises with every twist and turn. The kids had a great time and the nine-year-old... More

We cruised the lake in our 48' Navigator! We took that thing everywhere. We were on the lake for a week. Absolutely beautiful sites! Our only frustration was trying to find a sandy beach to anchor. They made it seem as though there would be sandy beaches everywhere. Not true! We spent a lot of time searching for sandy beaches,... More

We've been to Lake Powell several times and it's the most amazing lake. The Grand Canyon of Lakes!! We rented the 48' Navigator houseboat and had family and friends and generally had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, you pay 5 star prices (about $850/night + gas & that's a discounted price!) for a houseboat and expect it to be 5 star... More

We traveled with five families total (18 people) on a 75 foot houseboat on Lake Powell for one week. Just amazing!! We enjoyed hiking, swimming, kayaking, jet skis, skiing, tubing, etc. Anasazi canyon was pur favorite area! As well as rainbow bridge. The boys even made a zip line into the lake. What great memories!

We didn't plan to stop here but boy we are sure glad we did! This was the perfect stop to swim between visits to Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Entrance fee was $7 per person and allowed you to leave and come back in with your pass. No shower access from the beach restrooms though..

Lake Powell was a lovely place to spend a few hours swimming to escape from the heat. It is in close proximity to so many other sites. . We went to Horse Shoe Bend when the temps was 105 so it was great to come and cool off. Only problem was that some of the young people using the jet... More
