No debris on the beach, litter free and safe to walk without worry of hurting you bare feet. The locals trying to make a living, walk around trying to sell peanuts or brittle candy, and walk away if you say No... no hassle super friendly people

Good Cuban bands around. We visited on a Sunday which I believe is Cubans party day, it was great to see them all having a good time.

didn't really like this trip as we went on a sat and the beach was crammed with locals and you were left feeling uneasy and perhaps not welcome as it was their weekend. visit during the week as it has a little market too

Lovely beach loads of beds and parasols and lovely for snorkelling lots of locals at the weekends but guess what it's their beach and they are just as entitled to use it as the us tourists.

take your own snorkelling kit and spend the day on the beach then taxi back to your resort or you can take the open top bus but this restricts your time

The beach was very busy with locals and had a nice feeling - lovely sand and carvings in the trees were really beautiful

Clean and just relaxing. And you don't have to pay for any sunbeds! This in itself is a bonus. The beach is also patrolled to stop anyone coming in.

We were told about this by other guests at our hotel. We should have listened and gone with bathing suits on and towels, snorkel and goggles packed. The beach was fabulous, great places to eat all around at next to nothing 1$ for a pizza!! The market was nice, but we didn't go for shopping. Definitely would go back there.

So me and my friend decided to visit this place for some local shopping. You can buy great souvenirs here for cheap price if you know how to bargain. i.e. 5 peso for 8 bracelet with engraving. There is total 10-12 stalls there so not too much to see. Getting here was easy. 25 peso flat rate taxi from the... More
