Worth a visit

Beautiful beach, white sand, turquoise water. Busy and popular but limited shaded areas at peak times. Popular with local families so a great opportunity to meet Cuban people.

There are a number of palma roofed parasols but not enough to ensure adequate shade for... More

Great place to meet Cuban families on a Sunday. Often dancing on beach on Sundays too.Bars and restaurants on beach. Steps and a ramp from market leading down to beach.

Relax and enjoy mingle with the Cubans, lots of shade an lounges pay a peso. Better if you take your own beach towels as the hotel ones might disappear at times.

I disliked listening to people complain. I enjoyed the feeling of safety on and off the resort. The personnel at this resort were friendly... and I never saw a single "beggar" and I spent most of my time on the beach.

Nice and soft white sand, plenty of activities happening on the beach and the staff down there are a blast.

We went snorkeling as well as swimming with the dolphins. Our tour guide was horrible but we made due with our own ideas :)
