“Our visit was not so good”

I realize that having a private owned zoo or aquarium is not an easy task. We were not so impressed like the other last reviewers. Two adult from our group, after 10 minutes went out after they saw all the animals. We stay with our young kids for the explanation on the different animals but it was crowded and difficult... More

“Great Guide”

We went to the Aquarium not expecting allot and was very suppressed how good it was, the seven day pass is great we were in every day while we were there for the feed times at 11 and 2. The Guide Regan is amazing the kids really enjoyed his guiding at feed time, our favourite were the tuatara. More

“Loved it”

Our whole family loved the aquarium the animal feed time was great, the talk was both educational and entertaining. Only one sugestion the uniforms needed looked a bit tatty and one guy was wearing what looked like a picton promotional group uniform it took me a while to work out he was staff. More

very well stocked acquarium and very knowledgable staff. Good to have so many views of the fish swimming but with so many species together a little difficult for the non-expert to distinguish one from another. More

“OK for small children”

Not very much inside, took about 15 mins to walk around. Fine for small children touch pools etc. 1 very small penguin swimming around in the fish pool. More

A must to go during the feeding times at 11 o'clock and 2 oclock, the guides really have allot of great info. Very friendly staff. And our kids got to learn about the animals and have fun at the same time. More

Went to the aquarium today had a great time the guide showed us the little orphined penguins and injured shag, will be back tomorrow to see the penguins swimming. Aquarium was open after five today,and well worth the entry fee, maybe the last reviewer should have been into the aquarium before commenting More

“Expensive”

Misleading brochure suggested it was open until "dusk". We arrived just before closing at 5. Over $50 for the family (before we hit the gift shop) was too much. Location looked too small to justify. We'll never know, cos we didn't go in. More
