We chose Marlborough Sounds Adventure Company's guide 4 day walk and what a great choice this was. The tour was smooth running and well organized but there was no feeling of being too constrained. Our guide was excellent and his knowledge unbelievable! The accommodation and meals were wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend doing the walk this way. The walk of 71... More

This was a great tramp, reasonable level of fitness is required, beautiful scenery especially from the ridges. Some long days but you can tailor this to your needs as there are many options. Definitely worth doing once it is a beautiful part of NZ. More

Fabulous. Beautiful smooth ride. We chose to add Platinum Plus and think it was worth it. It certainly would be during busy holidays period. Staff were most helpful and friendly. Lunch was only average (mmmm actually below average), but there were plenty of nibbles and drinks. More

We drove the Queen Charlotte Sound from Havelock to Picton. This drive is well worth it as there is not much traffic and there are plenty of places to pullover and enjoy the view. There are also several short hikes you can take out to lookout points and down to the water . Make sure you allow enough time to... More

This is a great tramp/trek- it is very beautiful with constant views of the sounds as you climb up on to the ridges. Plus you can tramp/cycle in style by getting your bag transported by boat to your next accommodation point!! What luxury only carrying a wee pack with your daily necessities in it! Of course the accommodation charges make... More

Very pleased to read all the reviews before i went as i decided to catch ferry on day 3 and split day 4 into two bits which was a very good decision. I have passed the stage in life where i need to have a " challenging day " to enjoy myself. We managed to dodge the rain and this... More
