We had a flight from Blenheim that left one hour after our planned arrival in Picton from Furneaux Lodge. Cougar Line picked us up and managed to get us to the dock where we met a driver who did the 30 minute trip to the airport. The only way we made it was that Cougar line staff (office and ship... We walked the Queen Charlotte Track and Cougar Line transported us up to Ship Cove and then our bags to each of our stays at Resolution bay, Punga Cove, Portage and then back to Picton. Check in was easy and our bags managed perfectly along the way. Thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the spotted kiwis when we stopped to pick... More

After arriving in Picton on the cruise ship Voyager of the Seas our shuttle bus delivered us to Picton just in time to join Cougar Line's morning Sound Delivery Cruise. In 3 hours we covered up to 80km of coastline in the Queen Charlotte Sound. Supplies were delivered to resorts & holiday homes & also delivered & picked up passengers.... More

We used Cougar Line both for our transfers to and from Bay of Many Coves resort, and also for a day walk along the Queen Charlotte Track, from Resolution Bay to Furneaux Lodge - there was just the right amount of time to complete the walk and then enjoy a well deserved beer at the lodge before we were collected... We did the Cougar Line Sounds Delivery trip. It is pretty much the mail/delivery run for Queen Charlotte Sound. Whilst the sound is beautiful and this is one way to see it, what's on offer with this trip is certainly not worth the price we paid per person - but that seems to be the norm for tourism in New... We used the round trip ticket for walking the Queen Charlotte track. Great to deal with, packs were transported safely and water taxis were on time. Office staff and those on the water taxi were all friendly and helpful.

Did the Queen Charlotte walk and used this company to drop us to start of tramp and also to move our packs from camp to camp along the way. The trip out was informative and got a free hot cupper on board. Had Fred and Barry they are both awesome! Friendly and just all round great blokes. Day 3 we... More

We booked Cougar Line for transport to and from the Queen Charlotte track and found them excellent. One of our packs was "lost" en route from Sydney to Wellington which meant we had to shuffle our itinerary while we waited for it to arrive. But the Cougar Line staff went out of their way to help trace our missing luggage,... More

They shuttled my bag each day, took me to the start of Track and picked us up at the end. No complaints.

Had just a morning in Marlborough free and enjoyed a leisurely cruise around the sounds delivering linens, wood, and other materials to the different residences and hotels that line secluded bays in the Sound. Captain Fred and the rest of the staff are very knowledgeable and makes this a wonderful guided tour.
