The watertaxi is ok, nice trip to ship cove, saw dolphins, etc... But if you want to do the queen charlotte by mountain bike don't rent them there, they have no brakes, the wheels fall off and they are really not properly serviced. A nightmare! More

If doing the Queen Charlotte walk with packs, carry a small day pack and have your main pack carried to your daily destination by boat. Just a small cost but very convenient and reliable.Also take a torch for walking home at night after visiting restaurants/pub along the track. More
