Thanks to Sam on a great time wine touring around the Marlborough region. Great stories and facts. Loved tasting all the wine and hearing about the way they make it in that region. Thanks Sam!!! More

We opted for the "Scenic Marlborough & Half Day Wine Tour," so we could see more of the Marlborough Sounds than just wineries. The first half (scenic) was very disappointing. The tour was supposed to start at 9 a.m., but instead we started at 10 (received an e-mail advising us of this change). Then we just drove around, stopping only... More

We opted for the half day tour at nzd65 which included trips to 4 winery's and the chocolate shop. Nicki our guide was great providing lots of useful information and pitched it just right for us. There were only 3 of us on the tour so we really did have a personal tour! Itinery was also quite flexible which was... More

We are not really tour people but as no one in our group was prepared to be a designated driver we booked a tour with Sounds Connections. We were concerned about being herded like sheep but our worries were totally unfounded. We has a list of wineries we wanted to see and we knew we wanted to go to Adam... More

I opted to do the full day tour along with another couple but our group happily merged with a half day party after lunch. I was particular keen to visit a specific winery and that was incorporated into our day without any problem. Our guide Paul, was very easy to talk to and showed us around at a nice pace.... More

Booked this tour based on the great reviews here on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. It was a mid week tour and we were joined only by 1 other couple for the first half of the day and then they swapped with another couple via other transport for the second half which didn't interrupt our full day tour... Having just an afternoon to spend visiting wineries we were advised to use Sounds Connections by the i-site. They booked our tour and we spent a wonderful afternoon with our driver Sam (who was so informative) and friendly fellow visitors as we were plied with tasters by wineries who were in no rush to sell us anything. The final stop... More

We had a lovely day (about 10.30am to 5pm) visiting 4 wineries and a chocolate factory. Two of the wineries were large (Cloudy Bay and Wither Hills) and two were boutique (Johanneshof and Herzog). The highlight of the day was lunch at Herzog's winery. A beautiful meal in a wonderful setting. We would have loved to go here for dinner... More

We had a top day. As it turned out we were the only ones on on the tour but John our driver was great. Full of information on the local area and was well respected at the vineyards we visited which included wither hills, cloudy bay, johanneshof and our favorite herzog where we had a stunning lunch. A great tour.... More
