While our adult children and their partners were all together for the holiday season from their various bases around the world we went on a days fishing trip with Mark Baxter from Sounds Connection. What a day! This was one of the best days we have ever had as a family. The Marlborough Sounds are one of New Zealand's best... More

My mum and I spent a full day with Rod in a wine tour. I had a request to see some if the smaller cellar doors in the area and a particular request to see Clos Henri. They didn't usually visit this cellar door, but after a phone call they arranged to visit. The flexibility was fantastic ad we ended... More

Myself and my mother visiting from Brazil visited the Marlborough region with my two daughters. While we were there we did a private wine with Sam from Sounds Connections. We were picked up from our accommodation and Sam explained about the area on the way to the Cellar Doors. We told Sam what we liked and he chose wineries that... More

Conveniently we were picked up in Picton and from the beginning Sam was a knowledgable guide. Throughout the day he gave us history into the towns and region as well as additional information on the wines and wineries. The selection of wineries were diverse and all of which were friendly and welcoming to our relatively large group (14 people). The... More

Maria took us around Blenheim vineyards. She picked out vineyards that weren't too crowded and more unique. We tasted some great wines. Maria also included some other activities including chocolate factory, real estate viewing as we all had a passion for real estate. We had many laughs and Maria had extremely good local knowledge.

My wife and I joined a half-day wine tour of the Marlborough region with Sounds connections on a Sunday in late December, paying 69 NZD (54 USD/44 Euro) per person for the tour. The cost of all tastings was included. Our tour was on one of the Sounds Connections mini-buses, with a total of 7 guests on the tour, including... More

We did not do a regular tour with them. We booked a private tour since I wanted to visit small wineries with little or no representation in the US. First, let me say that dealing with the office staff (Sarah and Kylie) was a real treat. They responded to all emails in a timely fashion and gave all necessary information.... More

Great full day tour with Sam! We visited 7 wineries with a lovely lunch on the patio of Alan Scott. Sam was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I was very appreciative he changed the itinerary in the middle of the day to work in my love of Kim Crawford! He even stopped at the chocolate factory! All around perfect day!
