We went on the bird watching trip in the Marlborough Sound that makes a stop at Motuara Island. We had a great time. Saw dolphins and fur seal and a host of great birds including the King Shag and the Weka. On the Island we chose to stay by the freshwater spring and pool, which given the heat, was attracting... You can clearly see how passionate the team is about dolphins and marine life in general. Their good mood is amazing and you won't have a choice but will be really excited too during the whole trip! We saw some hector dolphins and unfortunately couldn't swim with them, but still it was definitely worth it! I'd highly recommend it!

We love the attitude of all the employees of this company. They were lighthearted, fun and were thoroughly considerate of the wildlife that is resident in the Marlborough Sound. We booked in for a swim with the dolphins tour, which had to be moved to the following day as the rainy weather had closed in with some high winds. The... More

Amazing tour and fortunate enough to see Orca. Love the company's attitude towards dolphins and marine conservation with a great team taking you out. Best thing we have done in New Zealand already.. Iain and Louise

I booked as a "viewer" on the dolphin swimming trip. It was a stunning blue sky day & the water was calm and we found a small group of Hectors Dolphins in a bay - no swimming allowed with these wee cuties but fantastic to see them. Later saw some NZ fur seals which the swimmers took a short swim... More

We booked this trip as the wind in Queen Charlotte Sound was making things a little rough for us to get to Motuara Island comfortably in our own runabout. Reading the other reviews I realise how lucky we are to live in NZ because we can be in danger of taking our environment for granted. In fact we saw nothing... More

This cruise takes you out to Motuara Island which is heaving with native New Zealand wildlife. The birds are so loud you can hear them on approach. Hike to the top for great views and see the spot where Captain Cook planted his flag for England much to the consternation of the Maori. On the way back into Picton we... More

We were lucky to see both Hector and bottle nose dolphins, and the first swim with the bottlenose's was amazing! It was a large pod, and they were so interested in us and swam all around and under and among us. Since the water is fairly clear you could see them going underneath you. The team on the boat was... We spent the afternoon on the boat travelling from Picton to Motuara island, pausing at various bays, coves and islands to observe fur seals, birds of various species and check out any Dolphins on the way. At Motuara Island we disembarked and walked to a lookout at the top of a hill, again pausing along the track to see various... More

We had a wonderful morning in the Sounds with a very professional and friendly crew. A lot of histories around this magnificient place. We saw Hectors dolphins and had a lot of fun watching them... Unfortunately, we weren't able to find dolphins we were allowed to swim with so we had a discount at the end. But still an amazing... More
