We all thoroughly enjoyed the trip and crew were wonderful. The environment is amazing and the boat very comfortable. There were some of our group from South East Asia who had never been on the water before but the crew and company are so professional they had no issues at all and all really loved the day out.

This set up is well run with enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff and crew! We were kitted out in wet suits...NOT a pretty sight unless you're a size 10 with no lumps and bumps....but, this was not a fashion parade! We were taken out and the dolphins were, at first, a little elusive but the crew clearly knew where to look... More

Even though it was a cool and cloudy April day in Picton, we had a great time on this small boat tour (one of the last for the season). Our crew of two was enthusiastic and helpful, with a real appreciation of the environment of Queen Charlotte Sound. We understand that the management of the company was about to change;... More

This was one of the best things that I did in New Zealand! The trip was fantastic. The guides were really knowledgeable and I learned so much about dolphins and about the Marlborough Sounds. We had 3 different drops (opportunities to swim with the dolphins) on the trip. The captain and crew gave us every opportunity to swim with the... More

Thank you for your lovely words! We take pride in what we do and of course the dolphins that are wild and free here in the Sounds! We are so happy you had such a wonderful time out there with us and that we managed to become one of the highlights of your trip :) Just a quick note though,... More

did the tour out to motuara island. captain paul has sharp eyes and exhaustive experience and will make sure you see plenty of wildlife. try to sit up next to him on the captain's bench and you'll get some extra info and potentially drive the boat home! the sounds are so beautiful, don't miss the chance to see them and... Had a fantastic morning out on the water, lucky enough to see a big group of very playful Hector's Dolphins! Great info about the wildlife and coastline from Glen & Larissa during the trip who also made it a lot of fun 😃 thoroughly recommend!

The wildlife viewing was pretty good, we saw dolphins, penguins, lots of other birds and we hung around to watch them for a bit but the trip was ruined by the awful boat. The seats all faced inwards like a lounge so you can't see out the windows, and there were way more people than seats which is awful for... More

We spent all morning touring around the sound. They were super up front about our chances to actually swim with the dolphins. The care for the animals was the number one priority, which I really appreciated. While I didn't get to swim with any, I did get to see a pod of super friendly Hector Dophins, including two little babies... More

I travelled to Picton with my husband and three children especially to do the dolphin tour. It was well worth the trip! The team were very helpful in getting us all ready and set up with snorkels and wetsuits, we then went out to the Sounds. They showed us the wildlife in the area and pointed out the various birds... Linda & I had been touring both the North & South Islands for almost 3 weeks but had failed to do a dolphin swim in Kaikoura, fully booked for a couple of weeks, and even though it was advertised it was no longer available in Greymouth. It looked like we would have to try and make it up to the... More
