Delightful place, comfortable rooms and great work being done here to save endangered birds. Take time to relax in the hammocks and explore all the nooks and crannies. Restaurant is excellent.

Food great, just need a few more animals out there. And a bit more for the kids to do.

It was a nice outing - 15 min boat trip to Lochmara. Enjoyed the little "island" and what's on offer and loved the seafood chowder at the cafe.

A very special place that we will return to in the future. Lovely rooms, incredible art, wonderful food. A perfect end to hiking the Queen Charlotte Track.

The animal refuge was great. The food was even better.

Excellent informative presentation by the man who oversees the care of the injured and rescued birds.

Good food, nice animals would have liked a little more info on them however.

Friendly service, lovely view, food moderately expensive but great. Wine expensive but take transport into account. This is one of our favourite Sounds places, also excellent place for family outings.

Great food at the restaurant, no hair dryers in the rooms, boat ride over $55.00 each was really over priced if you are staying there as well. It cost as much to there as to stay there.
