We went out on the akaora harbor cruise and had a lovely afternoon. The guide was very knowledgable and relaxed about our answering questions and spending longer when we got somewhere interesting. We did afternoon trip with two grandchildren, aged 11 and 6. The trip was great value, with the commentary pitched just right, so all of us got information appropriate for our age and experience.
