Great fish and chips. Don't miss it.

Nice to wander around here, lots of choices for fish and chips and very fresh seafood. Really liked this a lot.

I love the art that is scattered throughout freo. There are a few cafes here but they all sell the same thing for the same price.

The fish and chips is a must to try... I went to Kaylis for the fresh seafood and I strongly recommend it. In the vicinity, there's also a ferris wheel that kids and grown-ups will like.

A nice place to go for a relaxing, inexpensive meal. Plenty of seafood places, fish and chips and a glass of wine. Kailis Fish Market Cafe, Cicerellos and Cha Cha Bull and Little Creatures are all good places to try.

There's so much to see and do here - lots of restaurants, brilliant board walks and plenty of interesting statues about the place to pose with too. There are many seaside resorts who could take a leaf out of Freo's books to improve their ambience!

This harbour has been tastefully developed (pun intended) as a place where people can enjoy meals and snacks, outdoors or in, in a beautiful setting of fishing boats, leisurecraft, and boardwalks. The food isn't cheap--but on a tight budget you can, e.g., legitimate your seat at a picnic-type table by buying a coffee, other drink, or ice cream cone. This... More

Fremantle is a great place to stay when visiting Perth and the fishing boat harbour is probably the town's soul!! There is no doubt about the commercial contribution that fishing makes to Fremantle's economy but we were fortunate enough to lob into town on the day that the "Blessing of the Fleet" ceremony occurred. It became obvious that fishing in... More

Wandered to the harbour from Little Creatures on Sunday. Along the boardwalk are lovely little art installations, floating on the water. Very Freo - no fuss, they're just there, like 'em or don't. A band set up on the grass, playing 'Land Down Under' as we walked further along. The best fish and chips on the planet, eaten while gazing... More
