Beach itself is fine. It's in a bit of an industrial area, so parking is limited. The surf lifesaving club is right there on the beach, which is nice. Nice sand, not rocky, good for the kids too.

A very nice beach to stroll along the waterline at sunset. Located close to Fremantle amenities it offers brilliant summer sunsets.

The beach is split into a dog walkers area and family area. It's easy to park. Wonderful fine white sand with no amenities which is all of its charm. Blue clear water and uncluttered beach. Wonderful

We found this beach in the end of our stay, unfortunately! It's a beautiful beach, close by to the train station and just one stop from fremantle! It's not a Must see, but if you're looking for a nice beach hangout in Perth this is a recommended beach!

As they say in Australia, life's a beach, and that's so true here in Leighton Beach. it stretches for miles, you can walk end to end on the softest sand, wide beach accommodates hundreds on a hot day, and it's always full of joggers, surfers, swimmers, and kite flyers on boards, all of whom co-exist peacefully. There's even a wonderful... More

Very good beach, easy access and safe. Good for an easy long walk along the waters edge. There's a dog beach a little way north and that's worth walking too, the dogs love the water and their owners really appreciate being able to take them there. I don't own a dog, but they all look very happy to me.
