Beautiful white beach and plenty of parking

This is one of the best beaches for parking and how close it is to the actual water. Great spot for families as the water is never too rough

Leighton beach has some good waves. The sand is white and clean. The park behind the beach was very nice but unfortunately when I was there the toilet block and change rooms had been demolished to make way for a new one. I had to nip into the restaurant above the SLSA club and use their loo. This is a... More

We went ti the dog beach part and it was very busy with many families and their dogs. The part where dogs are not allowed was almost empty. The water is beautiful and you can walk into it as it gets deeply slowly and the waves are not so strong there as they are at Swanbourne beach. Very white, clean... More

Nice, long white sandy beaches adjoining on one side with Port Beach and Salt Brewery and with a dog beach on the other side! There will sure to be an area along this strip that suits you!

This is a fabulous WA beach. White sands, perfect sea and safe for children and swimming. Parking can be difficult but worth it

This place is stunning, you can walk up to Swanbourne from there (might need to go up/down stairs few times but no drama) and you might even see our friendly seal hanging out between leighton and cottesloe. There are few surfing school working from there as well

Beach itself is fine. It's in a bit of an industrial area, so parking is limited. The surf lifesaving club is right there on the beach, which is nice. Nice sand, not rocky, good for the kids too.

A very nice beach to stroll along the waterline at sunset. Located close to Fremantle amenities it offers brilliant summer sunsets.
