Day trip to Rottnest Island FROM PERTH. Yes you do not have to go to Freemantle to catch the boat. In fact it is a pleasant leisurely trip to Freemantle. School holidays time so it was quite crowded, especially on the return leg to Freemantle. You can hire a bike from the boat - only transport on the island is... More

The day starts with a comfortable ferry ride to Rottnest island. The ferry sells hot and cold drinks with a limited range of snacks. Once on the island there is a hop on/hop off bus available to take you round the island. There are some absolutely beautiful beaches on the island with crystal clear water and safe bathing. The island... More

We had a very comfortable ride to and from Rottnest Island on New Years Eve. It was very easy to make a reservation over the phone. I found that if you tried to online and just wanted the return tickets, the next screen was about selling tours etc and couldn't bypass it, hence calling up was the best option. The... More

The boat and bus were clean and in good condition which was great. The staff were helpful and knowledgable. Rotto is a beautiful haven and well worth a visit. The cost of the ferry is prohibitive, I went with an overseas visitor but as a Perth local would be reluctant to visit again any time soon. I was miffed that... More

Easy to book tickets and bikes at the Barracks quay kiosk the day before and we got a corporate discount which is always nice. Efficient boarding and nice modern ferrys. Had to transfer to another ferry at Fremantle which took a long time with all the extra passengers embarking. Hire bikes are in need of a bit of maintenance and... More
