Just back from 3 days of cycling in Rottness I ws impressed with the service, my luggage was delived and picked up on time, loved the labels for it, the ability to get into Rottnes early to get me cycling straightway and early in the morning so that I could relax for the rest of the day.

We booked online for a Tuesday day visit, when the tickets are almost half price. We secured the tickets for $117 return for 3 adults, which I thought excellent value. Trip over was a little rough, but staff were very good, running around handing out the 'sick' bags. Coming back in the afternoon was much smoother. If your schedule and... More

We took this boat from Perth's Barrack Street Jetty, to Rottnest Island. We had a very good crossing and it was smooth sailing all the way. The commentary was very informative along the Swam river. The luggage transfers were great, although the transfer from the boat to the accommodation (Rottnest Lodge) was quite disappointing. We walked from the ship to... More

Hi Dijke P, Thank you for your comments, we are glad that you got to enjoy the great service onboard whilst taking in the sights from Barrack Street to Rottnest Island. The transfer of luggage from the Rottnest jetty to all accommodation on the island is handled by the Rottnest Island Authority so your comments regarding the lengthy delivery time... More

This is a comfortable and fast ferry. Best way to get to Rottnest Island. Servicve has improved considerably since my previous visit 8 years ago.

You have to just LOVE a monopoly. Crap service at both ends, weak on line booking, impossible to change without massive charges,.......but then.....it's a monopoly. Rotto is a great place to visit but the ferry is an expensive joke.

Hi SteveBrown246, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback regarding your recent trip to Rottnest Island. Everyone entering the Rottnest Island Reserve is required to pay an admission fee ($16.50-$21.50) as a contribution to the conservation of the Island and the provision and upkeep of facilities. This fee is included in your ferry fare which does... More

We hired their bikes as part of the day and half way around the island my bike pedal shaft fell off! My partner and I were less than impressed, the gears on his bike also didnt work which made it extremely difficult to get around the island. We were so lucky that another company exchanged our bikes and gave us... More

Hi Shauna H, Thanks for the feedback and I sincerely apologize that the bikes that both you and your partner were given was not of the high standard we expect. We are constantly maintaining our bike fleet from the peril of crossing the daily Indian Ocean and the feedback in regards to the poor quality of your bikes has been... More

Great trip to the Island. Speedy boat even though it was 30 minutes late in leaving Fremantle. If hiring a bike make sure the tyres are fully inflated before leaving the jetty at Rottnest

Hi HenryD57, Thanks for the handy tip. It definitely makes for an easier ride around the island. A little confusion can arise with the departure time as the boarding closes time stated on the ferry ticket is the time when all passengers need to be boarding by not the actual departure time. We’ll see you next time you visit Rottnest... More

The price seems high but not for Australia and also this includes a landing fee charged by the government .the Eco boat is great for round the island and the staff is very informed But go early and get the late note back Friday to get your money's worth ,hire a bike from the boat and snorkel

Hi Robert R, Thanks for the great feedback. The Eco boat crew really do put a lot of effort in to making sure the Adventure tour is the best way to see the island. They manage to fit a lot of entertaining facts in to the 90 minute tour so that you can grab a bike or snorkel and head... More

We were there just last week. Rottnest is just beautiful, much better than I had imagined. We booked the passage and the bike hire a couple of weeks before, which probably wasn't that necessary given that the peak season is over. The ferry was on time, the bikes were new, easy to ride (I am 61, my husband is older),... More

Hi Lindaro, Thank you for taking the time to pass on such glowing feedback. It is great to hear that everything went as well as expected, if not better, whilst you were both enjoying everything Rottnest has to offer. It definitely does get busy on the weekends in summer but with more than 62 beaches and 20 bays there’s usually... More

Very disappointed with the service provided. We did not receive our snorkels even though we paid extra to have them. We booked a buffet lunch, the lunch served was a-la-carte and a very poor selection. The food cost approx $60 and it was simply two main courses. The food was ridiculously over priced. It was not worth the money paid... More
