You pay 3.5 euros, go up a lift and into the old water tower and have a guided tour of Tavira. I learnt a few things and enjoyed listening as I was "walked" around the town. It is near the castle walls and in a top spot. Enjoy a fresh orange juice for 1 euro nearby (tourist train drop off... More

This is project created to use the old water reservoir into something unique, that I have only seen in Tavira. You go up and then you enter a dark room, where the guide explains you how they have that image in the center of a platform that mirrors the entire city in real time, and next he/she shows in the... Easy way to see all of Tavira. Lift access if reqd. Suggest use midge repellant before entering as this was the only enclosed space where we got bitten. Still worth a visit.

This camera is located in the old water tower above Tavira, it affords great views of the town and beyond, well worth a visit. There is a small entry fee.

We came across this while meandering our way in to Tavira from the bus station. Well worth the entrance fee. An old water tower has been converted in to a camera obscura. You are taken up as a small group by lift to the top. The guide was really friendly and knowledgable. The images are amazing. Really enjoyed this.

this is an old water tower converted into a viewing gallery of the town of Tavira through a 100 year old lens. Very interesting and the guide was extremely knowledgable. Worth the 3€ entry fee

So glad we made the effort to climb the hill to see this, there's a lift to the top of the water tower once you get there. The female guide was very knowledgable and interesting, this is only the 2nd Cam' Obscura I've seen and by far the best, wonderful clear images of Tavira, well worth a visit for adults... More

First off... We were lucky in that we arrived early and got a private show! As such we were made to fell special. The views from the converted water tower were spectacular. The explanation was great and the 15/20 minutes flew by and the price was cheap! This was the first attraction we visited in Tavira and it was handy... More

Interesting, if you have not experienced this type of attraction . If I had paid full price ( we are v senior citizens ) I would have been disappointed. Once you have seen 100 red roofs ,you have seen them all.

A very interesting place to know all the famous places in Tavira. The only downsize is that I think is kind of over rated (price), but the experience is a nice one.
