Originally a rich market town. Levoca is one of the most beautiful places in Slovakia, and the former Town Hall is definitely its gem. Today a museum, it is really worth visiting - the staff are really friendly and give a lot of information, in addition to typical exhibits you can see various torture devices. You pay one admission fee... More

A stunning place to visit if you are passing, from the pictures of the merchants in the main room, to the torture bench and devices, this place oozes with great history. Works of art from more recent artists are also fabulous, and you get a lovely view of this beautiful town too, don't miss it if you are in the... More

Eventhough the museum is not huge, it is nice and well organized. Nice and helpful personnel. There are 3 museum to be visited at one fee (pay at any of them and visit all 3): The City Hall, the Museum of Spis and the Museum of Majster Pavol from Levoca.

The old city centre is great to visit, there are traditional markets in summer (July I think). Lovely historical city to spend few hours for sightseeing

I like small, local museums and this is a great one. Get the translation you need and browse through the collection of town artifacts. We especially liked the town meeting room.

The town hall is nicely located in the center of one the best small village old towns. The museum is small, but shows the history of the town in a short and accurate way. The town hall resides next to the church and main old town hotels, so it's hard to miss :)

Strangely the museums were closed when I tried them but after asking at the town hall, we were given a private tour of the Majster Pavol and Town Hall Museums
