The old town hall - the new version is far more functionally ugly - now houses one of the town's three museums. It is beautiful from the outside and fascinating within. The cool inside space suggest banquets and sword fights and the council chamber there are portraits of dignitaries from the past. Throughout the summer months traditionally dressed musicians play... This town hall is a must see - one of the finest in all of Slovakia. Its situated around the old town square. We walked around it a few time enjoying the amazing buildings and the fine atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Town Hall in middle of the square. This former important commercial town has, beautiful buildings within its fortified walls. The Townhall in the center of the square houses a museum. The building is one of the leading examples of secular Renaissance architecture in Slovakia.

Interesting monument of great historical relevance. The numerous testimonials on the functioning of the former Reichstadt of Leutschau tell you much on the government of these places in the giant Habsburg empire. Some works of art present as well.

Originally a rich market town. Levoca is one of the most beautiful places in Slovakia, and the former Town Hall is definitely its gem. Today a museum, it is really worth visiting - the staff are really friendly and give a lot of information, in addition to typical exhibits you can see various torture devices. You pay one admission fee... More

A stunning place to visit if you are passing, from the pictures of the merchants in the main room, to the torture bench and devices, this place oozes with great history. Works of art from more recent artists are also fabulous, and you get a lovely view of this beautiful town too, don't miss it if you are in the... More

Eventhough the museum is not huge, it is nice and well organized. Nice and helpful personnel. There are 3 museum to be visited at one fee (pay at any of them and visit all 3): The City Hall, the Museum of Spis and the Museum of Majster Pavol from Levoca.
