This is part of the city cemetery and is dedicated to those who fought occupation and strived to free Latvia. It is a moving experience visiting the grave plaques and eternal flame. There is also the statue of Mother Latvia dominating the whole area. Take the number 8 tram up Valdermara Street for the city centre. more
