Amazing for Art Nouveau fans!

Quite stunning art nouveau exteriors- and a few interiors- to be seen along some pretty tree lined streets.

Right in the old town, "Jauniela" it's one of the most representative and beautiful road of the city. Lovely stroll at any hour especially during the evening when this road gets a particular atmosphere given by the beautiful city's lights. Characteristic style buildings, a sort of art nouveau. However a short stroll up and down here it's due.

This street is famous for acting in various films - and it looks a bit like a film decoration. But what You will admire most is the house with masks (now a hotel). I am sure You will be impressed.

Look up to all the buildings with these magnificent carvings, take pictures and just breath the beauty of these buildings.

I loved the architecture - building after building of impressive and detailed architecture. It's worth a stroll. Bring your camera! I'll post my photos of it shortly, on Visit50.com

Really well maintained art nouveau buildings. Easy to walk around and close to city centre/old city.

Strange, but this street was hard to find, but it is marvelous with its painted walls and tiny cafes and monumental hotel building.

Nice little street with Art Nouveau buildings. Not spectacular as Alberta street but you can take a look because it's near to Town Hall Square.

Jaun iela is a narrow picturesque street off Dome Square at the back of the Town Hall. Lots of photogenic buildings with great architecture
