A very pleasant & interesting stroll around the city by a knowledgeable guide, Gunta who was very fluent in English . Given a good historical background & shown a variety of sights - and a taste of the famous Riga Black Balsam that it is alleged will cure anything! Look for the yellow umbrella for this tour, cost 8 LATS... More

I applied English guided tour for Rundāles Palace. They assigned me non English speaker, he could not comunicate in English at all. I never recomend this company at all, just waste time and money.

Our guide, Ilma, was an experienced, u friendly, knowledgable, and patient guide with excellent English and lots of background information to share. Also a careful driver. The palace and gardens were fabulous!

We have just finished the 2hr walking town of Riga Old Town and I want to say how good it was. I have traveled a lot and this was one of the best tours I have ever done. It was recommended by the tourist information office above the hop on hop off busses and the trolley bus that goes through... More

Having left our guide book in another city I came up with the bright idea of doing a guided walking tour of the city of Riga to make up for the lost knowledge. Well - I'm glad we lost the guide book !! The 1.5 hour tour (actually a bit longer) was very interesting. The old town of Riga is... More

We visited Riga in mid-August while on an Oceania cruise of the Baltic. Originally, we thought we would either wander the Old Town on our own or find the free tour on offer. When we arrived in the Town Hall Square outside the Tourist Office, we saw Gunta from Smile Line holding up an English flag and decided to do... More

did walking tour of Old Riga with our guide Gunta, and enjoyed it so much that we went on a further two walks - Art Nouveau and the Jewish Quarter. Our guide was locally born, and able to give so much background information that you would not find in a guide book. thoroughly recommended.

I came to Riga by one of Talinks cruise boats and wasn't very sure of what to make of the place. I soon was encountered with a very nice tour guide called 'Mikhail' who showed me and my family around Riga in very good time with a very reasonable price, managing to show me all the main attractions. I could... More
