We completed 3 very good walking tours: Old Town, Jewish Ghetto and the Art Nouveau/Architecture Tour. All very informative. Tatiana was particularly well informed for the Art Nouveau/Architecture Tour.

We did 2 tours with Gunta in one day, and were lucky to almost have her to ourselves the whole time. She is extremely knowledgeable and we had a fantastic time - and we learned a lot!

It was my first time in Riga and I wanted to gain knowledge of the city and thought what better than a tour with a guide. My guide was Gunta (yes I had her to myself), who was very knowledgeable, with a lot of details about history, culture, lifestyle of Latvian people. She encouraged me to ask questions and was... Just had a wonderful guided walking tour of Old Riga.... It was not my first time in Riga but I had never experienced a tour with a guide. Our guide was Gunta, very experienced and knowledgeable, with a lot of details about history, culture, lifestyle of Latvian people. She shared her experience about live during sovjet times. Gave advice about... More

My friend and I were only in Riga a short while and wanted to see some of the old Latvian castles. The Riga Information Centre recommended a trip to Sigulda and insisted we go that day with the Smile Lines company as there were only 2 places left. Turns out we were going as a group of 4 squished into... More

Our guide was knowledgeable and responsive, our group was small, so we learned a lot about the long history of this city. I recommend doing one of these tours before you poke around on your own, to get a perspective on what and where everything is.

Just got back from Riga, Latvia and other Baltic countries. The walking tours around cities were very informative. In Riga, we took two walking touts given by the same guide, Mikael, because he was so knowledgeable. The old town tour did not require much walking and gave a great history of the city and Region in looking at the Cathedrals... More

Look for the yellow umbrella in front of the House of Blackheads - our guide on a walking tour of Old Riga was Gunta, who's English is excellent and she is very well informed. The tour was taken at a very relaxed pace, and asking plenty of questions in addition to all the information Gunta gave us was not a... More

The rain was awful and the temperature was cold, but our guide was truly fabulous (and they gave us umbrellas!) He made sure he took us on a thorough tour (and it was just the guide and my husband and I so it was quite personal). Knowledgeable and friendly, he made our day much more enjoyable by helping us explore... More

A very pleasant & interesting stroll around the city by a knowledgeable guide, Gunta who was very fluent in English . Given a good historical background & shown a variety of sights - and a taste of the famous Riga Black Balsam that it is alleged will cure anything! Look for the yellow umbrella for this tour, cost 8 LATS... More
