We used Eat Riga to get the more Latvian view and they certainly succeeded, in fact I don't think there's anything they couldn't sort out for you. 9 of us went sailing on the Baltic and it was amazing and so well organised. Would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them!

We - a group of 8 girls visiting Riga - were so happy we booked that tour with James. We were satisfied to be one of the few tourists in Riga that saw much more than the pedestrianised and scenic old town. We choosed the tour in Moscow district and I personnaly had the feeling that we took a walk... More

Seeing Kipsala by bike was one of the most memorable parts of our stay in Riga. Artis was a wonderful guide! His enthusiastic descriptions of the history of the areas we went through really made them come alive. The cost of the tour was 15 euros for a 2 hour tour including the bike rental. Next visit to Riga, I... More

We visited 4 bars on the tour all different but interesting in there own way. We were a party of 3 men out... More

I joined one of the bike tours, which was great fun. I loved seeing the real Riga on the 3pm tour that took us to the old Moscow district with its wooden homes and cobblestone streets, the Jewish Cemetery and many other interesting places. To put it briefly: very friendly staff, fair prices (2.5hrs/15 euros), interesting facts about Riga and... More

Great food tour in the market when I visited Riga. The tour guide was very helpful, and as I don't speak Latvian I found it a great way to learn more about Riga whilst I was there. Good price, good atmosphere and a fun way to spend one of my first days in the city.

The positives were the quick response via email by the Tour organiser. The guide for the day was a charming lad too, but this was a paid tour and we were expecting much more for the price paid. I guess the rest of it was pretty much down hill. It is a unique tour but for what we got the... More

James put together a 4 hour walking tour of the old town, Art Nouveau archtecture in the city centre and a tour of the Central Market, including local product tastings. He corresponed with us in a timely manner by email and Arthur, our guide, delivered much more than was promised. In addition to proving historical information, he gave insights into... More

I love food tours and believe it's a great opportunity to learn the culture and traditions of a city so was really looking forward to this trip. However, this particular Food Tasting Tour was a disappointment as we did little more than walk through Central Market (the website says 'and surrounding areas' but it's market restricted) and sampled a few...
