What an amazing experience. Our guide, Lauris, picked us up from our hotel and was awesome, he took heaps of photos and videos for us. He even told us great places to eat and visit for our the rest of the trip. Artūrs who organised the trip, was great and kept in constant contact in the lead up to the... More

E.A.T. Riga Tours set up a very enjoyable walking tour in the city center for a group of 30+ adults with a notice time of under 48 hours. No bland boring nonsense to rip off tourists. Riddles, anecdotes, history and a lot of humour - that's the best way to discover a new city and get a sense of the... More

When on a cruise this year we took several tours with private companies. I have to say that the tour with E.A.T. Riga Tours was a STANDOUT! Unlike some tour agents who give pre-packaged answers to questions, James answered each of my questions thoroughly. I have some mobility issues so sometimes need to change walking parts of a tour to... More

Allthough it was the second half of of october already, we enjoyed the bike Tour guided by Arturs. On a cool but sunny day we visited some parts of Riga that are not described in the regular guide books. We saw a lot, the route was "made to order" and we heard a lot of good info on Riga and... I've been touring the Moscow district with James. We did start early enough on a sunny Saturday morning - on bikes, as this is a large area to cover by foot. Old (sometimes decaying) wooden houses, churches, stadium, parks, cemeteries, and the market, I've seen it all on this bike ride. Very refreshing after visiting the touristy old town. James... More

Joined the 12noon cycle tour, led by Artis, which provided a taster of the different districts in the city such as the Old Town, the Moscow district and the city centre. The sights were varied and the ride was easy - but make sure you have no loose teeth as it would be bumpy at the start and end over... More

Thanks for your response. In October bike the daily bike tours begin to slow down so that is why no 1500 was running that day , In general the daily bike tours run every day at 1200 and 1500 from May until the end of September! As for the cobble stones, as you mentioned they are not throughout the majority... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour. Our guide, James, met us at our hotel which happened to be in the ghetto district. it worked to our advantage because we started our tour there and got tons of history we wouldnt have come across if we had lived central. we moved on to central Riga by foot and had stops along... We took the 3pm tour which promised an alternative view of Riga. Urban cycling to the Moscow district and through historic parks. Our guide Artis told us interesting stories and gave us a insight to the real life and history of Riga. There were 8 people in our group and the cycling was not too tough with various stops along... My friends and I took a bike tour of Riga through EAT. We did the noon tour that went outside of the old town, across a scenic bridge to an island, and then back to the art nouveau area in Riga. Our guide James shared some interesting information with us, and I thought it was a perfect balance of time... More
