Allthough it was the second half of of october already, we enjoyed the bike Tour guided by Arturs. On a cool but sunny day we visited some parts of Riga that are not described in the regular guide books. We saw a lot, the route was "made to order" and we heard a lot of good info on Riga and... I've been touring the Moscow district with James. We did start early enough on a sunny Saturday morning - on bikes, as this is a large area to cover by foot. Old (sometimes decaying) wooden houses, churches, stadium, parks, cemeteries, and the market, I've seen it all on this bike ride. Very refreshing after visiting the touristy old town. James... More

Joined the 12noon cycle tour, led by Artis, which provided a taster of the different districts in the city such as the Old Town, the Moscow district and the city centre. The sights were varied and the ride was easy - but make sure you have no loose teeth as it would be bumpy at the start and end over... More

Thanks for your response. In October bike the daily bike tours begin to slow down so that is why no 1500 was running that day , In general the daily bike tours run every day at 1200 and 1500 from May until the end of September! As for the cobble stones, as you mentioned they are not throughout the majority... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour. Our guide, James, met us at our hotel which happened to be in the ghetto district. it worked to our advantage because we started our tour there and got tons of history we wouldnt have come across if we had lived central. we moved on to central Riga by foot and had stops along... We took the 3pm tour which promised an alternative view of Riga. Urban cycling to the Moscow district and through historic parks. Our guide Artis told us interesting stories and gave us a insight to the real life and history of Riga. There were 8 people in our group and the cycling was not too tough with various stops along... My friends and I took a bike tour of Riga through EAT. We did the noon tour that went outside of the old town, across a scenic bridge to an island, and then back to the art nouveau area in Riga. Our guide James shared some interesting information with us, and I thought it was a perfect balance of time... More

My experience with EAT was excellent. Email communication is efficient and very clear, especially re meeting point and contact details. I was travelling solo and had less than half a day, I appreciate that they could accommodate this at a very reasonable rate. I joined quasi-customised joint tasting + city tour for six hours, and my guide Artis is friendly,... More

Would definitely recommend the tours mentioned above. Our guide, Arturs, was a great source of information, with the pace and pitch of the tour being excellent. I would have given five stars but the person I had been in contact with on the phone about the tours basically put the phone down on me. Admittedly I was informing him at... More

Hi there, Thanks for the response and we are glad you liked the tours. We are sorry you felt we put the phone down on you that was not our intention at all. Simply we understood you would be late and thought that there was not more to say on the matter and so were passing that info onto your... More

We had a cruise day to fill in Tiga and booked this tour to give us an insight into Riga. I had excellent correspondence with James right up until the day before the tour then it all went downhill. We arrived at the office as agreed - the guy in attendance didn't seem to know what to do with us.... More

We are very sorry for your experience. It does appear that the guide in question may have been the same that was mentioned in a previous review and as stated they are no longer running walking tours for us. However we do ask you to get in touch with us and say which tour you conducted and if you recall... More
