I recommend EAT Riga to everybody. Our guide customized the trip around Riga districts and tailored it to our needs and expectations. He also answered all of our (even strange) questions easily. Thanks to this, our stay in Riga was much more interesting. We took the trip on the first day and on the other days we knew what to... More

We asked for EAT Riga to help show some students around Riga. We were brought to off the beaten path bars and restaurants, played an awesome scavenger hunt (which was quite challenging) and experienced a fascinating tour of the city. Definitely going to use again next time.

We had such a fun day out in Riga and Jurmala with James and Marcus - in the morning we strolled around the city checking out some local markets, gorgeous buildings and stopping at a very cute cafe for coffee and cake before heading out to Jurmala on the train for a wander along the beach and a picnic lunch.... My wife and I had a private Food Tour with a local guide. The guide was good, but when all you see is the Central marked and have two small tastes of meat and to tastes of cheese. Than 60 Euro is to much as we could have done the same for near to nothing.

I am very sorry to hear that you thought our tour was too expensive. You booked our food-tasting tour which, as listed on our website, is conducted in the Central Market involving light samples of local and traditional food. As I recall, in addition to 2 kinds of meats, 2 kinds of local cheese we also tasted two 2 kinds... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of doing a personalized, combined "Alternative & Food Tour" with James. James was our initial POC via email and was great in his responses, as well as timely. He was very accomodating to our limited time in Riga. James was also more than willing to tailor our tour to our wants/needs, prior to... More

It was absolutely pouring rain when we met up for this tour. It got a bit better but in general made for a less than desirable condition to be walking around. Nevertheless, Artist was a great tour guide. It was just the two of us on the tour so it was personalized nicely. We saw all the highlights and some... More

Did a walking tour around Riga, our guide Artis was prompt to collect us from our hotel, was really knowledgable about local history and took us to places we otherwise wouldn't have seen.

A very very informative tour of Riga on realy good Dutch bikes. The guide Marcus takes us to the Russian part of Riga and showed us parts of the city which was not even in the guide books. The people from E.A.T. Riga Tours are very friendly and really helpful. The Dutch bikes they used are really well maintained. Their... More

Spent a week in riga in December and arranged an Old Town, Nazi influence and Communism tour in the City. We were met by Artis who picked us up from the hotel and presented us with our 24 hour travel passes for use on trolley bus, bus and tram. He then took us on a 4 hour interesting tour of... More

Marcus put together a great tour of new and old Riga on short notice at a very favorable price. Would definitely recommend their service.
