Not your typical walking tour of the main sights, but this one took us our of the old town mainly to some other places you might not ordinarily visit. So from that perspective it was really great! Our guide knew so much about the city and the places she took us. And gave some great recommendations on what to look... More

I am an italian living in Latvia from 2 years and after this tour I finally feel like I know Riga much more deeply. This unconventional excursion offers a different approach to latvian hiatory and take you through untold stories straight to the heart of latvian culture. The guide, Martins, leaded us with passion to hidden jewels that you would... More

This was a great walking tour that shows you the other side of Riga. It takes you outside the old town and give your view of the real side of Riga today. The market was great.

Great tour, that gives you a chance to drift away from main tourist attractions and see more of the city. Gide doesn't give you typical "this building was built then and then...", but presents objects in more attractive, informative and interesting way.

Very interesting tour, explored areas of Riga we would not have ventured to on our own. Our guide Arthurs was very friendly and informative. Would highly reccomend the tour to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Interesting walk off the beaten track, seeing some of the authentic sights, sounds and people of Riga. Martin was lively and entertaining, his grand finale dance was something else (not sure quite what though). Interesting stories and a sensible pace made the tour interesting, whilst we covered quite a distance.

45 minutes of the tour were spent in the market listening to the guide list all the foods that Latvians like to pickle, she did the same for smoked and again for fish. As much as I like hearing what other cultures enjoying eating I felt too much time was spend on this topic. Then the guide took us to... More

If you are looking for an interesting and informative tour away from your typical tourist areas then this is a tour for you. Arthur (our guide) carried out a 2 hour tour showing some of the lesser known areas explaining in detail the history behind the buildings. Thoroughly enjoyable

This was something more than just a guided trip "here you see..." All the stories told were really atracting and interesting, not those boring historical stories guides ussually tells. Worth going.

Our guide was called Arthur. He took a small group of us around some interesting sites in Riga.I loved the Central Market and the Little Moscow area of the city. Arthur was really personable and knew lots of interesting stories and facts about Riga, as well as cracking jokes and keeping us entertained. I would definitely recommend this tour.
