This tour was much better than any payed tour in Riga. It is awesome to see something outside of the main touristic attractions. Agnes, the guide, was really funny! I loved the way she explained things. And the tour is for free!! incredible. We had to pay 15 Euros per person for a buss tour that was totally useless, and... More

Met up with Tom our man on the tour.We meant to go on another tour but he sounded such fun and interesting that we joined him and a very multi national audience. He made everyone part of the gang and did he know his stuff. It was informative, gave us lots of snippets of history without being OTT and enabled us to find... This is a review of the "Yellow Suitcase" free walking tour that starts in front of St. Peter's Cathedral. The guide - a native Latvian - took us straight out of old town and into the outskirts of the city, showing us what lies beyond the standard views that most tourists are confined to. It was quite an interesting, although... More

After going through the review I was quite excited with this walking tour but I kind of got a little disappointed. Though it gives a picture of the city but the guide I thought gave too much story behind not so famous places. I mean you can easily miss out on major attractions and the history behind it. May be... I expected a lot from this tour after reading the reviews. It does not take you through the Old Town but is positioned as a tour to discover lesser known areas in the vicinity. Having said that, it was a waste of time as it was a very shallow overview of most places we visited and there was really no... More

Very interesting tour. It was unusual that we didn't go to old city, but went into real Riga. Kris is the best, we learnd many interesting facts about Rigas history! I recommend everybody!

It was a great tour with a great guide (Agnes). We got some advice afterwards about not so touristic restaurants/bars and we discovered some lovely places. Thanks and keep up the good work you are doing there!!

Had a great time on this tour. Learned a good number of abstract facts about the city. I would recommend if you are looking to get off the beaten path for a couple hours.

Great guide (Christus), a lot of information, presented in an easy-going way, not so rusty like some "normal" city tours.

This was a great tour to see the city. I think paired with the old town tour you'd probably have a good understanding of things happening in Riga. My tour guide was Agnes, I think, and she was really easy to talk to and gave great recommendations throughout the tour. She even recommended checking out the Art Academy which ended... More
