There are children playgrounds for all age groups, road for roller skating and pedestrian roads, cafes, parking lot and toilets in the park. The park is opened all year round. In winter park is an excellent place for distant skiing on a lighted trail. The access is very convenient; there is a parking place for 200 cars at the park. In 2010 a panoramic tower was opened here. The tower is 33, 5 m high and it reveals unforgettable view of Jurmala. The tower has 12 balconies on different levels so everyone can choose the height. « less

I live in Jurmala, so Im really pleased that we have such a place to go for: a small walk, because the park isn't big, meeting your friends - there are a lot of wooden benchies to sit, play basketball, see Jurmala above the trees (watchtower), spending time with children. I often go there with my 4year old cousin (from... More

Provides a barrier to the winds off the Baltic. A pleasant area to walk through with tall conifers and study the bird life.

Very nice place, watch tower gives better understanding of how the city is located (Baltic sea from one side, river from another). a lot of steps but made in a way it is easy to climb. Park was full with families with young kids. Different playgrounds around.

The beach in Jurmala is OK, architecture is interesting but we are not big fans of this and the forest park was the hit of the day in Jurmala. Very well kept place with a lot of attractions for kids and adults, paves for roller-skating and biking, swinging observing tower. It was raining that day but we tried all the... More

Dzintari is like a playground in the woods. This is a very well kept place, with a quality play area, a skatepark, good waking and even tiny motor cars for young ones. All surrounded by wonderful birch trees. The kids had a wonderful time: I would definitely go again.

We went to the seaside. Weather let us down - it was not enough to play by the sea - kids got sandy, wind was too cold. We discovered that nice park built in seaside pain forest. Wooden paths through the blackberry plants and huge play grounds. Well done Jurmala for inventing such a fab place. Kids didn't want to... More
