I traveled with a colleague, starting from Helsinki in the economical Eckero cruise. I had time only for the old town after the long cruise (that was enjoyable, by the way). Tallin old town is a little touristy, with young ladies dressed in medieval clothes roasting almonds for you. But that apart, the small stony lanes and old houses are... More

Definately recommend this for a budget bite to eat for lunch! A medieval tavern within the Town Hall called Draakon! Be prepared to be served in true medieval style! For €5 I had a small bowl of Elk Soup (first time and won't be my last!), Spinich Pie (amazing) and a light beer! Also went fishing for a free pickle! More

The town hall building sets of the town square beautifully. It looks so amazing sitting in one of the cafes at night looking up at this amazing snow covered building. More
