A sea trip of about an hour gets you to a place that time seems to have by passed. The island is out of this world. Peaceful and quiet, but small enough to do in a day. To camp over night would take the visitor to another place.....and the history and museum all help to make the trip worth while.

An hour ferry ride not to far from Tallinn takes you to a small natural world of forrests, a church, local school, museum, community centre, souvenir shop, historical cemetery - what an island offers and needs, ah and a gas tube (!) and many other little unexpected sights. One wishes to just stay longer than only for a day. Carmen... More

We made a daytrip and the Highlight was a sledgeride with Huskies. It was absolutely nice and the dogs pulled our sledge really fast. The landscape with all the snow was also very nice. All you need to know is that these dogs are sprinters, that's why the ride itself is rather short. Nevertheless you learn a lot about sledge... More

We had our own private winter day trip to Lahemaa - a family of four with two boys aged 13 and 11. Our guide was Imbi, who is passionate and knowledgable about Lahemaa national park, and knew a fascinating amount about the biology and geology of the area. We went to the Jägala waterfall (not quite completely frozen yet, but... More

An enjoyable day - not to be missed. It was a nice break in the middle of our stay in Old Town, Tallinn. Our tour guide, Carmen, was superb, friendly and fun. It was informative and interesting to learn about Prangli life, and the lunch was excellent.

Visit Prangli island in Estonia, near Tallin in 19.-20.07.2014. Some days before I wrote review about Prangli museum. Now I write review to add 7 my made photo for better insight about island. My previous review was without pictures. Prangli island is very nice with good swiming places, possibility to train survival skills in wild nature. Some signs from WW2... More

We went on the Husky Dog Sled ride with Annika and had an excellent trip. After being picked up from our hotel we visited a museum, a frozen waterfall and then went to Korvemaa - an outdoor spots centre. The Husky Dog Sled ride was excellent, we had to control our own sled rather than just ride - which for... More

Can't really add much factual info to other reviews, but can vouch for the fact that it's a great day out. Lovely break from Tallinn and good opportunity to learn more about how other parts of Estonia lived and live. The time to explore the island on your own, I particularly liked. A small taste of 'Prangli time' :-) I,... More

all travel elements were in harmony on my PRANGLI day trip . the weather , the guides , the group , the setting and the delectable alfresco freshly made sublime lunch . We engaged the Prangli Travel for a nature and snowshoe walking tour at the Lahemaa National Park on Christmas day. Not a typical way to spend Chritmas day for a family who lives in a hot tropical cosmo city like Singapore. Somehow we enjoyed every minute of it. Annika and her husband played a key role to it, with lots... More
