The church is nice to look at from outside but without an impressive interior. Coming to know that it is an Orthodox church and comparing it to the likes of Alexander Nevski in Sofia for example it becomes even less impressive. However, the church has a lot of history and dates back in its origins to the fourteenth century.

From the exterior, I assumed that this was an Armenian Orthodox church, but it's not. That's not why I'm giving it the 3-stars though--I'm giving it a "meh" score, because the inside is pretty "meh." It's beautiful, but it's like a lot of other Orthodox churches. So, if you've seen a lot of Orthodox churches, you can skip the interior... More

We found this lovely church as we were down in this part of the city exploring the "REPUBLIC OF UZUPIS". The church is really grand;a beautiful exterior and a really nice interior, very calm and peaceful inside the church. Initially we had been sat in the cafe across the river ,there was a wedding ceremony taking place but by the time... More

Nice church right in the surroundings of Uzupis Republic. Nicer in the outside than in the inside, still worth to see. Not easy to be found open!

Unlike other churches in the Vilnius old town, this church had a feel of grandeur to it. The Sunday evening we went, sparse crowd, mostly candle light made the whole interior magical. Didn't find any altar... More
