Rough walk up to the top, lots of pebbles and rocks ans stones. But amazing views definitely worth the walk!

There is a funicular but walking is more interesting as you get to have various glimpses of the city on the way up. Once you get to the tower you can climb to the top for a small fee that is well worth it. Great overview of Vilnius

After visiting the Old or New Arsenal, a quick elevator ride up a steep hill to the Gediminas Tower affords expansive views over Vilnius.

Nice views of the whole city. I recommend using the funicular especially with small children which also serves as a ride for them

Easily accesible either thru the path or by lift. The visitors have to visit the tower to have an overlook of the city. Is very close to the main square, and apart from the great view is a part of the city's history

If there is one thing that you should have done in Vilnius, it's this! The Gediminas Tower is easy accessible by multiple ways and for those who aren't able to climb the paths, there's a cable lift. From the main square it's about 10 minutes walking. On the Gediminas Tower you got a really beautiful sight over Vilnius (if the... More

The tower is just a short walk from the Old Town. Views from the top were great- 5 Litas to go up the Tower. Guides on each level didn't speak English so was difficult to ask questions. Path on way up is rounded stones. Wouldn't suit a wheelchair or pram although there may be a lift- sorry didn't try to... More

The huge tower and fort complex looms high and large from most viewpoints in the city and is worth a visit. You can walk up the hill or take the short and quick ride with the funicular. The views are stunning, of the whole city and certainly is part of the city's history.

Iconic !!!! The "Kissing Tower". Had been seeing this on pictures for almost 2 years now. Really wanted to visit the place. And yes, it was truly a goooood feeling to be on top of that, and moreover, "Kissing" the love of my life. It has its own share of history with historical facts tucked away nicely on your way... Once you walk pass all the church's and come on the newer side of the town you will see the entrance for this tower or fortress . In mediviel time the king resided here. The path up the hill is made of cobble stone and going up the hill is little strange is for weak and elderly people. They have... More
