A must to-do while in Vilnius. The view is lovely and you learn a bit about some area history. Also, walk to the Hill of Three Crosses. You will see a beautiful view of the city.

We didn't actually go into the tower, the climbed the hill up to it, which offers a spectacular view at dusk. Definitely worth the walk up to see Vilnius by twilight.

the best thing to see, I look for landmarks when I travel and sadly Vilnius don't have a lot of them. This is the only place where I enjoyed most! Going up hill, looking at that view <3 the place is ancient and you can also see the 3 crosses hill on the left side. totally worth a visit.

Nice view over the old town. Good option to take the funicular up and walk down taking photos along the way.

From this tower you will have an excellent view over the city. Its also a good place to chill in the evening cause there is grass everywhere around.

We took the long uphill walk up to the hill where the tower is located, which was worth the effort. From the top of the hill, you can have a panoramic view of the the old town as well as the modern part of the city. From here, you can also see the Three Crosses. On our way down, we... More

Worth visiting. A good scenery from the tower. A narrow staircase to climb and so you can go either up or down, but not past people, meaning that ylu have tonwait if somebody else is going to the other direction.

Well worth the visit to give you one an excellent view and layout of the city. Two options to get there, either by the foot path, well marked, or by a funicular.

I went to Vilnius in July 2015 to explore this beautiful city. And went to Gediminas' Tower and very much enjoyed it. The Tower is located in Vilnius Old Town on a hill. It is on top of this hill where Gediminas was said to have had a dream of a large iron wolf, which he saw and heard howling,... More
