As the child of Lithuanians who fled during the Second World War, pictures of this iconic tower were a part of my early memories. The views from the top were lovely and the 2 euro admisson was very reasonable. Some exhibits inside.

The best place to see the city 360 degrees around. Worth a climb definitely both in day or night time.

We did not walk up to the tower as it is our understanding that there really isn't very much to see inside. It is in good condition and the symbol of Vilnius

The walk up is a bit steep, but the view and the gentle breezes at the top are quite worth the trip. Not easily accessible if using a wheeled conveyance.

Gedeminas tower are a must if you visit Vilnius. If you are not intrested in history you can skip the museum and only look at the fabules view.

Must for everybody who comes to town. Best views of the city from the top of what remained from medieval castle. The tower is the place for the main flag. Some important ceremonies takes place here. Small museum inside the tower. The hill used to be forested, but became bald recently.

It's a pleasant enough walk up and the views are very pleasant however the museum itself is a bit lackluster. I'd recommend anyone visiting to go but it's not going to be a highlight go any trip.

A tower with nice view. Funicular/elevator ride up is the easiest way to reach it (up&down: 1.5eur). The tower consists of three floors, where you can find an historical exhibition. Stairs up to the tower are narrow, made of wood, be careful with the rail, in some parts there is only limited space between it and the stony wall between... More

Nice views over old and new Vilnius. Didn't go up in the tower. I took a walk upstairs instead of the cable car.
