While I don't regret the 10 minute diversion, I think this would be much more interesting for those familiar with Lithuanian authors. The art itself was OK, nothing spectacular.

Come and take a look! A unique attraction! Open air art gallery, definetely worth to be visited! Another reason why Vilnius is one of the most culturally advanced cities in eastern Europe.

It's not usually on tourist guides but in my opinion is one the most beautiful places of the Lithuanian capital. Very intimate and fascinating.

We were staying in an apartment on this street so each time we left or came back we could stop and look at the art on the walls. It's a nice quiet street that's worth a visit.

A great variety of small art works on the walls. Well worth a little detour to view these.

I stumbled upon this street by accident and it was really interesting. It's a street with various artwork mounted on the walls, dedicated to the literature workers: writers, translators, everyone who has a link with Lithuania and is important for Lithuanian or world literature.

hundreds of Lthuanian authors on the wall, each having a number and a thing that represents them (things differ from simple metal plate to artificial teeth). Besides there's a very nice cafe on the very same street.

A most charming outdoor exhibition of small artwork fixed to the walls of the buildings on the street. To me it was more impressive then the exhibition at the contemporary art center, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say. Check this one out, however, it's free!
