Soft white sandy beaches make Nida a must for a day trip at the very least. We bought a smoked fish and ate it on the beach - lovely and as everywhere else food is cheap and cheerful. Make sure you climb to the top of the dunes and admire the view. more

Cheap to cross on the ferry from Klaipeda At the north end is the Sea museum and the ''fish zoo'' similar to the ones on the english resorts but not a rip off like them. Well worth a visit for less than the price of a pint! a coach takes you to Nida (40 ish minutes) nice seaside village, I... more
