This western-style cathedral located furthest east in Europe is a jewel of Kosice. A place where you feel the breath of several centuries that will overwhelm you. It is beautiful from inside to outside, but you should also climb the steps to the northern tower to be rewarded with a spectacular view of the city. At night it is wonderfully... More

My wife is from Kosice and we were married here back in 2010. You can catch a Mass here or just take in all the details of this historic landmark. Additionally there is a smaller chapel in behind. All the other downtown sites are in close proximity and there are plenty of types of food and beer to choose from.

Well worth climbing the steps to the top the views are amazing. Only downfall they are very narrow and you've to hope no one wants to pass you on the way up or even worst on the way down.

Incredible building, especially by night... But if the tower is closed (for renovations apparently), put up a sign. Why leave people standing and waiting

We inadvertently walked in whilst there was a wedding in progress. Instead of making a hasty and noisy retreat, we lingered a little while and took in the atmosphere - it is a beautiful building which I look forward to exploring when not otherwise occupied!

The church is beautiful, this is a must to visit while in Kosice, located in downtown, you can enjoy not only visiting the church, but having a good time in its surroundings.

The cathedral had just undergone renovations when we visited in min 2015, but had not lost any of it's original charm and character. I highly recommend returning to view the cathedral in the evening when it is lit up and creates a beautiful sight.

Beautiful church in centre of Kosice. I recommend to walk up the tower, there is a huge bell and great view all around the city. The church entry is free of charge.
