Already lost his head a few times due to careless drivers. The only statue that comes out of a manhole. Sort symbolic of the up and coming quirky Bratislava that has a number of interesting statues scattered around old town.

Yes, this is just a cute small statue in the middle of downtown Bratislava but it shows great imagination. This small statue has become a major attraction and is on every tour of the city. And it's free! I like it!

This statue is located in the old town area of Bratislava and is worth a little detour to have your photograph taken with it. It's fun, quirky and best of all free. Nothing amazing but worth a little visit

This is a funny small statue in the historical center of the town, basically for tourists to touch and to caress .

When all said and done its a quaint little statue, just off the main square in old town, but its very cute, its free and well worth a detour to have your photo taken with the little man, popping up from a manhole in the street.

This at first looks a bit out of place, but the rumours have it say that they popped their heads out so they can look up the ladies dresses

Except the fact that it's quirky and fun, I would not go out of the way just to see it. It's on the entrance of the main square and you cannot miss it - people are always gathered around it.

A fun statue in the heart of the old town. It even has its own 'man at work' sign. I also second Kevin Ds post below that if you pat him on the head then wash your hands after as we saw quite a few dogs taking an interest in this statue!

Apparently the only statue that looks as though it is coming from below the ground. It's the most famous statue in Bratislava (close to the second, Schone Naci). The statue is of a man peeking out from under a manhole cover.
