A fun statue in the heart of the old town. It even has its own 'man at work' sign. I also second Kevin Ds post below that if you pat him on the head then wash your hands after as we saw quite a few dogs taking an interest in this statue!

Apparently the only statue that looks as though it is coming from below the ground. It's the most famous statue in Bratislava (close to the second, Schone Naci). The statue is of a man peeking out from under a manhole cover.

One of several pieces of street art that can be found while ainlessly walking through old town. Easy to find, beside a jewelry shop. Great for photo opportunities; our escort brought to our attention it's height is perfect dog height. If you are one of many people polishing his head, best to wash your hands. The peeper has been hurt... More

Quaint 'street furniture' best appreciated by simply happening upon it A 'must' photo opportunity - if you can get near it The 'polished' headwear indicates the popularity

It is a great statue in Bratislava, and everybody want to have a picture with the man at work. It is in the city center and you can't miss it. It is the most famous one in Bratislava.

One of the easier statues to find, but also easy to miss as it is on the floor coming out of a drain.

I loved the fact that there is no reason for this statue - it was just added in as a joke! If you are wandering around the city, you probably will stumble across him. We didn't go looking for him and then suddenly he was at our feet. We were in the city in the middle of summer and any... More

Walking around Bratislava old town you will stumble upon a number of these quirky characters. Cumil or Rubberneck or The Watcher is possibly the most famous and the first you will see. It helps that there a big red road sign just above his head. He's on the corner of Panska & Rybarska. The Paparazzi guy and Napoleonic Soldier are... More

This guy, residing in the Old Town, dates back only to 1997, but Bratislavians and tourists love him. Children like to abuse him by sitting on his head. Heated discussions have taken place as to what actually the man is up to - you have to decide whether he is simply resting, looking up women's skirts, just cleaned the sewer........ More

This attraction is really popular and we were told we may have to wait to get close enough to be able to see it properly. Even the red sightseeing 'train' tours stop to see this character! I wasn't supersticious enough to rub his nose :-)
