When you are coming to Bratislava definitely don´t miss it. It is a small and simple atraction almost a few meters from the Main Square./centrum of the town/ Almost every tourist stops over there, it is a funny small iron sculpture which creates a smile on your face...and I do believe that you love smile - so don´t MISS IT...

Go on – take the tour. Download the list & find the statues – pavement/eye/roof level. It adds a dimension to your walk and some photos/selfies to your collection

There are few of these types of bronze statues in the world, according to our tour guide. Fun to see it and fun to place my good-luck travel charm, Jean-Luc, for the photo.

Fun sculpture at an alternate angle in a lovely square. What's not to love about Cumil? His face is tender, curious and friendly. Glad I got to see and photograph this landmark of Bratislava.

This amusing statue of the 'watcher' is so popular that you may have to wait for people to move away before you can see it or take a photo. There were even people lying down to get their photo with him. Some girls had him looking up their dress. All good fun.

We knew this statue was in Bratislava but didn't really know where. We sort of stumbled across him, not literally! The group of people around him drew our attention. Once they cleared we took our own pics appreciated him. Worth finding!

Cumil (Slovak word for watcher) is a ground statue at the corner of Rybarska Brana (Fishermen's Gate). A creation of painter Viktor Hulik in 1997, who tried to give a hint of optimism in Bratislava after the dark communist era. It has been damaged several times by careless car drivers but he is always there, doing what? It's for you... More

This little statue attracts crowds for photos. There are at least a couple of other statues of this nature in the old town. Interesting.
