We went to this museum late in the day, which was a mistake. There's just so much there, from reliquaries, to coins, crowns, and curios. The tower offers a nice view of the main square and a better one of the castle hill and its surroundings. The museum has more of one foot in the city's past than its future... More

The views on the rooftop is worth the price of admission , the exhibits were so so old guns and swords and the attendants were disinterested , but the city view from the roof top is worth it

It's right in the main square and it was mentioned on one of the city walking tours so I decided to visit it. Not bad! The fee is five euros and the audio guide is included. In general lots of interesting things like original papers and stuff but the museum is not that large so don't expect much. You can... More

We found out about the museum on our Be Free walking tour and thought it looked interesting so decided to go in after the tour. And it was interesting! The view from the tower is a particular highlight. There is a range of things to see in the exhibition and the free audio guides provide comprehensive descriptions and historical accounts... More

In the Old Town Hall is the City museum. We found the historical info to be interesting. There are several great and well preserved rooms. Includes a visit to the tower.

This museum is located in the old town hall. It starts with religious art, next a climb to the clock tower and a beautiful view of the city. Than a lot about the history of Bratislava. The last part is dedicated to trades, guilds and crafts, My biggest surprise were shooting targets with the king painted upon ???

We visited this wonderful city museum on a rainy day and it turned out to be a great way to spend two hours. The exhibits are spread out over many rooms and trace the history of the town hall, the city, the guilds, and its many civic associations. this is an amazingly spacious exhibit that can easily absorb two hours... The museum is located in the City Hall - enter under the arch and the door to the right. I would say the museum is split into 3 parts. The first few rooms are dedicated to religious items that haven't been displayed before. This worried us - we wanted history! But don't worry, it gets better :) The 2nd part... More
