I think the best bit of this museum was the views from the tower which are magnificent. I was a bit disappointed with the galleries on the way up the tower which are predominantly about the architecture of the Town Hall and the way it has changed over the year. There were some interesting exhibits but I was hoping for... More

There is a small entrance fee to enter. The small museum was worth a quick look. The view from the tower over old town up to the castle was great!

Old Town Hall (Slovak: Stará radnica, Hungarian: Régi városháza) is a complex of buildings from the 14th century in the Old Town of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It is the oldest city hall in the country and it is one of the oldest stone buildings still standing in Bratislava, with the tower being built approximately in 1370. The town... More

This building stads next to the Japanese Embassy in the main square of Bratislava. It is really beautiful to admire. What I found pretty is the red and white checkered design on the upper window borders! Didn't get a chance to go inside. Would definitely love to the next time!

The area around Primacialne namestie (square) and Radnicna 1 which, among others, includes the City Museum and the Old Town Hall is both interesting and picturesque. The Old Town Hall and the Primate’s Palace near the Town Hall is where Napoleon and Franz 1 of Austria signed the Pressburg (German speaking name for Bratislava)Treaty in the Hall of Mirrors in... Some interesting reliquaries to see along with some other religious pieces and a tower to climb with a view of the city. Not a great deal here, but a good way to spend an hour.

In the old Town Hall there is an excellent exhibition, where you can learn the whole history of the city. The building is from different periods, from the middle age till today - interesting
