Come to have a look at the 7th largest hanging bridge in the world. Get a panoramic view on the whole Bratislava from the open-air observation deck on top of its UFO-shaped cupola. Refresh yourself in a fine dining restaurant or a bar which are up there, too. But mainly – get your camera ready! Photos taken here will surely... More

Unless you plan to visit the tower or the restaurant on top of the tower, its not that great. The views from the castle of the bridge is better.

We saw this bridge from the castle. It is just a bridge, and one cannot avoid seeing it. It bridges the old city with a modern part, with offices, shopping centers and residential buildings. Later on, we took a taxi for an extended tour of the city, and we crossed it by car. We would not have walked across it.... More

Whether you love or hate this bridge, there's no escaping it whilst you're in the beautiful city. During the day, you can walk down either side (under the road) as it spans over the Danube River. Quite an impressive structure, if not slightly weird or even ugly. The bridge does vibrate as the heavy vehicles pass on the road above... More

It's a strange bridge where there is a restaurant and observatory at the top of it. As others have said, it looks like a UFO has landed on it! We went up it in a small elevator up one of the legs and then there is a disconcerting walk up some angled stairs as the legs are on an angle.... More

Pedestrians and cyclists can cross The Danube on the lower section of this bridge whilst motorised traffic goes over the top. Whilst walking across there's some interesting graffeti.

While I respect the locals resentment of the bridge, it is quite welcoming as you drive in towards the city. I found myself capturing photos throughout our stay in the city

Although it feels like it has been placed there out of nowhere, I think that it's impressive from an architectural point of view. You can see it from any point at the river, and it offers some great views. On the top of the tower there is a UFO observatory that we didn't visit unfortunately.

Quoted in many books as hated by the locals and many tourists... yes it is weird to first see and it does look out of place, and sadly too close to the beautiful old city, it could have been far batter placed further down the river and caused less controversy. But it offers spectacular views across the river, three countries... More
