The New Bridge was the second bridge constructed over the Danube River at the height of Communist regime in the late 1960s. The megalomaniac city planners decided to cut the main access to the bridge cross the former Jewish neighborhood and synagogue, The major attraction is an observation platform with a classy restaurant UFO on the opposite bank. From here... More

Interesting place, nice view of the Danube river and other parts of the city. Good but expensive restaurant on the top.

We observed this bridge from a distance to take some photographs and then also walked across the bridge over the Danube on the pedestrian walkway which is below the roadway of the bridge . The entrance fee for the observation deck at Euro 6.50 per person is too much in our view.

A nice bridge to view and go over. The top has a restaurant and due to the shape it's called the UFO bridge.

The designer of this modern bridge over the Danube has done a great job of producing a functional bridge carrying a lot of traffic whilst making it a bit of a tourist attraction with its UFO cap to the tower

Connecting Bratislava's Old Town with Nove Mesto with a small statement, this bridge definitely makes an impression. Lovely to views back on to the Castle from the walkways along the side. Have not been up to the top of the UFO but as the Castle is actually higher the view is unlikely to be very different and the castle is... More

Well worth a visit to the UFO the views are incredible. We had coffee and waffles in the cafe at a reasonable price but the restaurant prices looked a little expensive for the size of the meals.

Interesting bridge with UFO pad to go up to the top, we didn't. But the bridge has a walkway below it and that leads directly to the Bratislava Mall (a mess of a mall that is in need of a facelift).
