The Bratislava Castle is what I remember most from my first visit to the city, on that trip I did the museum (I''ll return again someday), this time I just enjoyed the grounds and views of the city and river. The castle offers many options, this is a place where you can go for an hour (grounds and views), or... More

It is not easy to climb up with bicycles to the castle but it is not impossible :) We are fans of historical monuments so we could not skip this beautiful place. Cheap entrance fee, big experience.

We went to the castle courtyard . The castle was great and the scenery spectacular . The weather was good, so also we saw up to Austria

Not the original castle but rebuilt from it. Adjacent to original city walls and the gates are (I believe) original -- at least portions are. Located at the top of a hill with expansive views of the Danube, Old Town and bridges.

The best thing about the castle is the great views. The surroundings are really nice, excellent for a stroll and some fresh air

Not a must see, visiting it was fairly underwhelming. The castle burned down and has been rebuilt in the 60s and definitely looks like it, very sterile without any of the charm one would expect from a castle

Toured as part of a River Cruise stop and enjoyed the walk to the castle and seeing it both inside and out.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Bratislava castle. The walk up to the top isn't too tiring and the views over the Danube are very picturesque. I think all the attractions in the castle have an entrance fee but the views from the top are still definitely worth it.

Nothing really to see. Pretty boring tourist attraction in all honesty. Please don't visit on the strength of a day trip here. We were all done in 15 minutes. Knight room sounded ok but it was just breeze blocked out bare cellar.

The castle in Bratislava was quite impressive in size and unlike some castles, it truly felt like a castle in the traditional sense. However, it was quite plain in appearance and lacked some really cool designs that can be seen elsewhere. The walk up is nice and you are treated to some amazing views of the city.
