It was one of the best place in Bratislava itself. Worth to visit not very expensive as well. Students has discount as in all Slovakia. Student Friendly ;)

Climbed the hill to the castle which is very impressive being completely restored. Very quiet with few tourists. At first we thought the building was empty but did eventually find some galleries of paintings and objects which were very interesting. We climbed to the top of the Jewel tower but beware of the extremely steep stairs which are almost ladder... More

Probably not worth paying to go inside - but worth a walk up, and around it (you can go inside the grounds for no charge) - as the grounds are nice, and the views quite spectacular. The walk up may be a bit tricky for some, but the little red trains run up to the top.

Building basically not open. But from one viewing site you can see into Bratislava, and also two other countries. Worth the visit for that.

Brief visit for a photo opportunity into and onto castle walls and courtyard. Still in use by government so access is limited.

While from the outside the Castle looks impressive, it didn't have the same 'wow' factor inside. The reconstruction of it failed to capture the history that the interior might have had, coming across as very modern and quite clinical. The views however make it definitely worth a visit!

The views from the tower are amazing, but they are similar from the castle grounds. The castle was destroyed, so this is just a replica built in 1950. Inside is not impressive, currently it an art gallery. I am not one for sketches so I wished I saved my 6 euro.

It's a pretty steep climb up but you're rewarded by a fantastic view of the Danube beneath the UFO tower. Recover your breath in the main square with the imposing equestrian statue in front of the Castle . The castle itself is disappointingly bare because it's under renovation and most visitors wouldn't be interested in a blow-by-blow account of the... More
