It is a charming little area to walk around or sit and have a coffee. Pretty at night lit up. A variety of shops, restaurants, and outdoor souvenir market as well with the typical items.

This castle has been standing in the Bratislava hill for thousand on years and it is still very imposing even if it has changed a lot during the times and now it looks more like an stately home. nevertheless views over the city and the Danube are great

Surrounded by lovely buildings, it shows how symmetry can be beautiful. A lot of restaurants and cafes, monuments and a lovely fountain in the middle. All in all, a great visit.

The city is well maintained and easy to... More

One of nicest parts of the old town. If you have a chance walk around on sunny Sundays to really enjoy its atmosphere.

City square is cute and charming, with plenty of pubs. We got lucky during our visit. There was a local artisan festival going on with cultural music and local dancers. The artisan market had potters, basket weavers, wood and metal workers plus more demonstrating and selling with works, plus, a car show of restored old cars. It all added up... More

Hlavne namestie (the "Main square") is an adorable small square in the heart of Bratislava's Old Town. It houses the oldest city hall in the country with a tower that offers a charming panoramic view on the main sights. There is always something going on – traditional markets, concerts or other types of cultural program. The famous Christmas markets are... More
