Based on amazing tripadvisor reviews, I forced my family to walk through the streets in 100 degree heat for this toy shop, which was exactly like every other toy shop I have ever been in in my life, except much smaller. Not really worth going there just for that, but go in if you happen to be in the area... More

Stumbled across the TEDx talk of the charming owner of this toy store in Bratislava. Found out that the store moved from Bastova to Venturska 7 when I passed through Bratislava on a Viking River tour. This place made an old timer feel like a kid again with grandkids!

A very sweet shop with some fun and unusual items. Yes, mostly things for "older" children but we found a few great items for stocking stuffers. The guys who own and run it (one from Maine!) could not have been nicer.

Most items are for bigger children (10+)...i did not see why everyone is so enthousiastic about this place. It is very small and sells mostly wind-up toys.

It's all true! My shop is the size of a postage stamp, most of the toys are for kids old enough to drive, and we have a LOT of wind-ups, from Czech Republic, Germany, USA and (of course) China. And, even though it is my life's dream, I'm also surprised by how glowing some of the earlier reviews are. But... More

Take a stroll down a little alleyway beside Michael´s Gate and you´ll come across a brilliant little gift shop. It´s a hidden gem, off the regular tourist path, but still close. I´ve taken my year old son there several times and he just loves the spinning, whirling, flashing, blinking, moving toys and stuff. I say “stuff,” because there are really... More

A must see when in Bratislava. Situated on Bastova - a charming cobblestone "Ulica" that winds its way to the shop's front door. Inside you will find a well-stocked toy store where everything begs to be investigated, wound up, squeezed ... you may end up staying a while. Luckily, everyone who works there is ok with this. Super friendly, and... More

As everyone knows the best treasures are always well hidden but once you left the usual tourist path in the inner city of Bratislava you will end up in one of the nicest shops I have ever been to so far! You will discover so many great toys that you are in danger to forget about time and space. Therefore... More

I was in city trip last weekend in Bratislava. The city centre is quite small with small streets, the kind of visit you can do in approx. 1 hour but I had to spend the whole day there. So, with my friends we went to some pub and we ended in a little store situated in the house of the... More

I'm a big fan of quirky stores that sell offbeat stuff, things that make you laugh or think (or both). This little store down a little alley in the old town is filled with fun stuff, and they let you play with all of it! On sunny days they have a little cart out under St. Michael's Gate, with solar...
