Not enough time to explore authentic suburbs of Bratislava yourself? Then join our 2-hour or 4-hour Post socialist Bratislava city tour. Not enough time to get the taste of Slovakia? Then join our Slovak Village Pub Crawl. Tired of the city rush? Try Little Danube Canoe Trip. Need of the mountains? Go for our 1-day hiking trips. Longing for travelling back to the past? Visit spooky ruins during our 1-day castle tours. However, having stayed only in Bratislava, you can hardly say you have seen authentic Slovakia. Allow yourself 2 days or more to explore mountainous areas off-the-beaten-track. For real nature freaks we have prepared great hiking trips. If you are greedy for mysterious touch with medieval times, you will find it at gloomy castle ruins watching deep Slovak forests from above. « less

I found the tour on tripadvisor when we were deciding what to do in Bratislava. We emailed and texted on the evening before we wanted the tour and we got an almost prompt reply. Pete gave us a two hour tour and picked us up from our hostel in the morning. I loved the old Skoda and Pete was friendly,... More

Visiting Bratislava for the weekend with a friend from work, and as this was his first visit, we decided to book the tour. As I actually used to live in Bratislava, I thought that there would not be that much new to me, but thought my friend would get a lot of benefit from the tour. I was actually really... More

I went on the Carpathian Castles Ruins tour and it was probably the best part of my entire Europe trip. Peter is an extremely knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Hiking through the woods, exploring the ruins, learning the history of the castles, and enjoying the views from the top was a lot of fun. I almost wish we had done the... More

With less than 24 hours in Bratislava I wanted a way we could see the city efficiently and learn about the real Bratislava. Peter picked us up from the station in his very comfy and characterful 40 yr old Skoda and proceeded to take us on a "Post communist" tour of Bratislava. We went all over and heard stories of... Already seen castle, church and city centre? Call Peter or his brother and spend an afternoon around the city discovering the Brarislava that no classic guide can show you! We really enjoed it. Thanks to this tour we changed our opinion about the trip!

Can't rate this tour highly enough. My brother and myself went expecting something pretty good and got something exceptional. If you want to get a real sense of what it was like to like in Slovakia, and Bratislava especially, in the socialist and post socialist era, then this is the only way to do it. Brano was charming, good humoured... More

Me and a couple of friends took the 2 hour tour. It was excellent! Easily understandable English, lots of information, lots of places we would never have found without this tour. We used a car to visit the most important attractions, most of which are too far from the city center to walk to, but also places which tourist guides... More

If you want to experience the true character of Bratislava this is the tour for you. Communist factories, war memorials, disused bunkers all interweaved with insightful, personal stories from your own personal tour guide. Fantastic! We were picked up outside our hostel in an authentic 1970s skoda, driven by out tour guide Peter. We were taken around for two hours... More

We where in Bratislava for just the day, but wanted something other than the churches and local history lesson...We had a wonder and insightful visit to a city of immense pride, beauty, and amazing hospitality..... Peter, showed us a dark part of Bratislava, but accented the tour with a touch of how the people and culture have strived for better... More
