Description: Alternative tourist agency offering minivan and retro car trips in...
Alternative tourist agency offering minivan and retro car trips in Bratislava and surroundings for unbeatable prices. Visiting Bratislava for only 1 day? Not enough time to explore authentic suburbs of Bratislava yourself? Then join our 2-hour or 4-hour Post socialist Bratislava city tour. Not enough time to get the taste of Slovakia? Then join our Slovak Village Pub Crawl. Tired of the city rush? Try Little Danube Canoe Trip. Longing for travelling back to the past? Visit spooky ruins during our 1-day castle tours. However, having stayed only in Bratislava, you can hardly say you have seen authentic Slovakia. Allow yourself 2 days or more to explore mountainous areas off-the-beaten-track. For real nature freaks we have prepared great hiking trips. If you are greedy for mysterious touch with medieval times, you will find it at gloomy castle ruins watching deep Slovak forests from above.

We did the post-Soviet tour with Juro in a socialist era Skoda van. Excellent experience that included local history and local color that isn't available on your typical tour. Very memorable. Highly recommended.

I would say, if you are thinking whether to do the tour to definitely do it! I'm not someone who do tours but I thoroughly enjoyed the time with Peter. He brought us to places that are the most unusual, in the most unusual vehicle and gave us food and drinks that the locals would have and told us stories... More

We (my wife and I ) had a memorable 3 hr private journey with Brano in his retro Skoda when we were in Bratislava on a Danube River Cruise. The boat offered an Od Town walking tour, but we discovered Brano on Trip Advisor with a great reputation. Based on our experience, he thoroughly deserves a very high rating. He... More

Knowledgeble, funny and nice guide. It was nice to see so many different parts of the city, learn some more history and that we could ask the private tourguide anything we wanted.. It.was very interesting to see all that different parts of the city. Highly recommanded!

This was by far the best thing my ten friends and I did over our long weekend in Bratislava. The guides were fantastic; enthusiastic, knowledgeable and genuinely nice people. We experienced and saw some of the best sites we certainly would not have seen if we weren't to have gone on the tour. Extremely flexible, superb value for money and... More

We did the Iron Curtain bike tour with Juro - an outstanding and incredibly knowledgable local who made the whole experience feel like we were just on a bike ride with an old friend! Juro provided us with endless knowledge and thought-provoking and evocative discussions throughout. He took us 'off the beaten track' where we discovered abandoned WW2 bunkers as... More

We took the 2 hour Post Socialist Tour of Bratislava. Peter picked us up from our hotel in the Skoda, which made its way manfully through the streets of Bratislava. It was surprisingly comfortable despite the lack of suspension! It certainly turned heads. We spend a very interesting tour around various sights, Peter was an excellent host and we were... More

My brother's host parents from the US came to visit him to Slovakia and at this occasion he booked the postsocialism tour, I accompanied them because I was curious. Both me and me brother have read an article about Authentic Slovakia in Slovak newspapers before. I am a Slovak, I moved to BA 4 years ago because of my studies... More

I booked 3 different tours with Authentic Slovakia and every single one was awesome. They are very quick at communicating via the internet. We did the Northern experience tour the first day with Brano & Juraj (George), due to the rain we had to adjust the schedule, we visited a nuclear power plant, went Trenchin Castle meet some other americans... The tour was really easy to organise, and we were picked up in front of our hostel. Juro, our guide was super keen to show us around, and he was very knowledgeable on the city. He really made the drive fun and made for a superb experience. I can highly recommend this tour as part of anyone's travels through Bratislava.... More
