I went to the boat ride with high expectations, I would say it is average. The boat itself is good with facilities. The cruise is not worth the money. The city of Bratislava is not so exciting to visit, it appeared like any other town/street with no special attraction. I would give a skip for this

We used the hydrofoil service to travel from Bratislava to Vienna. The dock was very close to our hotel in Bratislava (Marrols). I was able to book online and reserve our seats at the front of the ship. The ship is spacious and comfortable with a small cafe .There is a set aside room for luggage. The trip took 90 mins. The boat travels... My husband and I recently spent several days in Vienna and decided to visit Bratislava for the day. We were going to take the train, but a Vienna local suggested the hydrofoil. It seemed like a fun way to get to and from the two cities. Originally, we were going to just do the boat one way, but we got... More

Very relaxed atmosphere. Paid £25.00 each for a return ticket in April. Found the drinks on board very good value for money (around e1.90). Nice relaxing day with more than enough time to experience Vienna in full. From the drop off point in Vienna it is a quick 5 minute walk to the underground, where it costs e2.20 to go... More

After three months traveling we are coming back in memories and these from Bratislava are half good and half bad. The trip on Hydrofoil to Vienna was a good one. We were lucky on the staff. On our trip there was a girl called Nicole Batelova. She made our journey memorable and very pleasant. The boat was half empty and... More

A crowd of men from North Down Rotary did a three day trip to Bratislava and on the penultimate day took the hydrofoil to Vienna. The Danube is anything but Blue. Falling in, you would not be at risk of drowning but rather poisoning - it is so polluted, dirty brown and rather foul-smelling. The ferry is excellent, snacks and... More

I am was using the ship yesterday on 25/10/2014. The service staff was ignorant and very unhelpful. I bought my ticket online, when I approach the only service desk they have there and told the staff member I bought ticket online, he replay “so what?” I explained him, that I never used this service before and don’t know how this... My introduction to this trip was being told off in Slovak for boarding too early. Not a polite warning that I was too early, but a full-on reprimand to leave the boat. Perhaps its my fault that I didn't ask upstairs in the ticket office exactly what time to board, or that I saw the path down the pontoon open... More

The hydrofoil only departed Fri - Sun, so we had to travel on Sunday. We booked on Sat so as we could just get on Sunday. There is plenty of seating, we were in the middle section going to Vienna so did not see much, coming back we got to the river early to make sure we got to the... More
