It is a small garden. But it has a very pleasant atmosphere. One can enjoy different sectors and stroll along paths which combine the asphalt, brick, wood and rocks. It is well taken care of and it offers quality time for anyone visiting it. Ticket 1.5 euro. Close to the center, the Danube, and the water museum. I visited it... More

Its a nice park, but only if you have time. If you are a plants lover like me, you will find this garden interesting, but not as much as other ones throughout Europe.

A 5 minute drive outside of the old town, this quaint garden offers a lot. Nice walking paths through established gardens with numerous trees, bushes, flowers which are all labeled. Greenhouses also offer some additional flowers and plants from other parts of the world. Bring your camera and sit on the many benches provided and relax.

If you like walking with trees, flowers you should visit this place. Nice environment, beautifull place. If you will be hungry is there a small snack or coffee available. Excellent for families with children.

The Garden was a nice place to walk and wonder in a very sunny and hot day. The most wonderful thing for us was the waterlily pools with the frogs and the baby frogs - so cute! Remember to bring your own drinks and snacks with you - there was nothing to buy inside the garden.

Though the Botanical Garden is slightly out of the way from the main city, it was well worth the visit for being in the company of beautiful serene nature after the hectic sight seeing of Bratislava attractions. It is a part of the university in Karlovaves near the river Danube & is supposed to have been developed through many years. The present... Botanic Garden (Botanicka Zahrada) is a naturally beautiful place which you get to on trams 8 or 9 and is part of the Komenskeho Bratislavia University Faculty. Situated in Cintorinska ul, 900 24 Velky Biel. Entry was 1 Euro 50. Very peaceful and they have a cactus, rain forest and desert display. There is a very good rose garden also.

This garden is first of its kind opened in Slovakia and the only botanic garden in Bratislava. It is one of the favorite destinations for relaxation for locals as well as visitors of our capital city.
