I visited the UFO Observation Deck with my brother on a day trip to Bratislava during a recent backpacking tour across Europe. As a fan of great views, 1960s lounge culture, and bizarre Soviet building projects, I found this to be one of the coolest attractions/clubs I've ever visited. The views of Bratislava from the outdoor observation deck are second... More

The UFO Observation deck is fun to visit if the weather is nice. Some hotels have 20% discount cards but you need one card per visitor. The café at the top of the deck seems like a good place to relax, especially if it is windy and cold outside. The observation deck has a free binocular that works well. You... More

Definetly worth taking the lift to the observation deck to see the city from above, if only to see how they split the old town in half to make way for the road and bridge (controversial). We ate in the Old Town, had a look at the restaurant menu but it looked too high brow for a quick bite we... More

Excellent views of the old town and castle that are worth the trip over the bridge. Great cocktails too!

They try to emulate a real high class restaurant but they fail miserably. Entries are tasteless, duck tasted like lever, lamb rack had no rack, poor presentation. The reservation desk gave our reservation away without checking it, getting to the restaurant we almost broke our necks due to slippery pavement as it was cold outside, we pointed that out but... The UFO tower is a unique landmark, but given all the other places to view the city skyline (Old Town Hall, Crown Tower, St. Michaels, etc), it isn't worth the trip across the Danube- particularly in winter (Brrr!). The most impressive view is that OF the UFO, not FROM the UFO. At the top, the bar menu is affordable, though... More

This is a must see attraction in Bratislava. Best view on whole city, Danube river and castle. Free binoculars on roof top. We also ate waffles in the restaurant, which were very tasteful. Great

This is definitely the best view to the caste and as you can guess I've seen it all... A bit terrifying being up there but definitely worth it.

A soviet era CSSR UFO shaped viewing platform over the Danube with a restaurant in it. A great view for the top weather permitting, it is 6.5 euro to go up but that is hardly expensive compared to most capital cities charges for a view! We had some glasses of wine in the bar at 3.60 euro each again hardly... More

It's probably the-best-view site to see Bratislava! They have discount for students so the price seems to be more reasonable to the observation deck! The view is impressive. However the day I got there was so windy that my hair was totally blew up and my eyes couldn't open wide:v
