This was really an impressive architecture, but it was undergoing major reconstruction both outside and inside. If you are making a trip to Szeged for this, you might feel a little disappointed because of the construction (but Szeged is still a beautiful place). But if you are in Szeged anyway, don't miss it. The interior was very nice too (whatever... More

At present doing huge really deep excavations . Inside a tranquil retreat , lovely paintings on the wall . What fascinated me was the medieval looking contraption, used to reach the high ceilings, wooden with wheel and a scary looking extendable ladder ,,, not for the feint hearted.

Amazing construction in the center of Szeged. Worth a visit to check the church and the surroundings.

I've visited Szeged many times before and, of course, seen the Dom (Cathedral of Our Lady) many times, it dominates the city skyline from miles around. To be honest, it isn't the prettiest Cathedral on the outside being built of brick. However, I was totally amazed when I finally took a visit inside the Cathedral; stunningly decorated and painted walls... More

I made a point of visiting this church for personal reason. I was baptized there many, many, many years ago. It has two impressive spires which can be seen just about everywhere in the downtown area. It became my guiding light as I walked around the riverfront. . It is not as old as many other churches I've seen in... More

What a beautiful building in the centre of Szeged. Well worth a visit particularly in the evening as the lighting of the features really highlight the surrounding area.

The church is a part of the complex on Dom ter. Wonderful architecture! We were not able to go inside, but the church and it's surroandings are memorable enough as it is! Great experience!

The Votive Church in Szeged is one of the main attractions of the town. It's placed on one end of a large square, where they have summer theater events every year (you should visit a performance is you have a chance). The church itself is not an old one, but it has an atmosphere to it. The walls are not... More

Inside and out it is a beautiful building, even thou I am not a church goer per say, I enjoyed looking around. Surprisingly the church is not as old as it looks and feels like.
