The Synagogue is a pice of art but its value is not used in a correct manner. The only stuff member present at the Synagogue was one of the most disinterested persons I ever met. It was like she was making us a favor by letting us enter into the building.

A lovely perfectly restored Synagogue, well worth a visit. The lady at the door was a bit of a grump, but I'm sure she was just having a bad day. That aside, the place itself is beautiful, and a reminder of the sad history of this part of the world with a long list of names of all the people... More

Visited the Synagogue in combinaiton with a musical event we attended there. A moving place to visit when one considers what happened to so very many of those who would have worshipped there before the Holocaust. Close to city center.

The first thibg that we wanted to see in Szeged was the Synagogue. And we were not disapointed. We were not able to enter the building since it was closed for some reason. Enjoyed the view from Gutenberg ut. Amazing!

Worth the visit to see this historical Jewish Synagogue which was the center of local Jewry till the war. It is also lit up beautifully at night. A wonderful lasting memory to all the Jews that lived in this city.

This beautiful building is a testament to the Jewish heritage of the city that was lost during the war. It is a proud standing structure with unbelievably intricate stone work. The local main church was built shortly afterwards and looks Getty similar but slightly higher so as to compete with the Synagogue structure. The

If you think about its history, only sad thing come to your mind. The building is impressive and amazing. It's like the past coming to life again. Last time we were visiting, someone played on the organ and it was so beautiful I could have listened to it all day long. Opening hours are a bit tricky but if you... More
