the a38 is unique, it doesn;t matter whether you are there for a gig, a party or just a casual few drinks on the top deck and terrace, you will always have a good time. the sound in the hull is intimidating and it's a special moment when you are in a gig so wild you feel the boat shake.... More

It basicly is a disco on a boat, it was pretty epic! It is based on a houseboat in the Donau which separates Buda and Pest. We had to walk quite a while but its worth it!

Sure, it's on a boat moored on the Danube, but you can see the same sights for free when off the ship. Drinks are much pricier than any other bar in Budapest, music is just so so, and you may have to pay cover if there's an act you didn't know about that night.

I never write reviews. Always read but can never be bothered to write one. This place got my back up so felt I had to. It's voted best bar in the world! What a joke I have been to better church services and I don't go to church. Worst we was rip off at the bar. i asked what was... More

This place is basically a boat in the middle of nowhere. The top deck was alright just a dance floor and bar with seats around the side. The lower deck was loud euro techno. A bit souless and a bit rubbish. Top deck better than the lower deck but is worth the effort of going to? I d say no.... More

Had a meal in the restaurant before the club, waiter brought out the wrong meal, then over charged on the bill and would not refund, not happy with the customer service at all, would not recommend.

Really unsure how this bar/barge got any awards, boring poor dj's and what resembled a school disco on the top deck with small girls dancing around their handbags whilst small boys in groups looked longingly. Beer was reasonable, atmosphere very average . Its a long walk from the centre, so if you can be bothered get a taxi and keep... More

We had a really good dinner on the terrace with a lovely view and fantastic live music in the background. The service in the restaurant was excellent, the food really good, but not outstanding compared to other European gourmet restaurants. I think it's worth to go there for dinner and even for partying (depends, which band / DJ will play).... More
