Recently been to Budapest on 11th May on this Restaurant. Whereas there was live music going on at the deck as well as in the basement and food served on the 1st floor, the ambience was nice. However the waiters were extremely rude as the Vegetarian food served was insufficient, not a complete meal, just on cooked vegetable. When inquired from... More

Cool night club situated on a ship, free entry and with live music. It's located on the Buda side of the Danubio, near the city center. To be see, especially because it's particularity!

One of the most popular concert venue in Budapest! Great sound system too! The bar is quite simple but well enough for a party.

some travel guides recognize this place as one of the best bar in Europe. But I don't think the same. It's a special place to take a shot but, it hasn't anything strange. Good music, very affordable prices and nice views. Don't miss it in order to compare to a "ruin bar".

Very lovely experience durin my stay in Budapest. Certainly one of the best concert places in Budapest. Some concerts are even for free, the right choice for people who just wanna get surprised... Concerts are also being recorded and are available on youtube. + their 1st class restaurant is unforgetable. You can even purchase tickets for concerts including a dinner... More

A38 is one of the best concert venues in Budapest. If you want to explore the Hungarian music scene, then you should absolutely check out Random Trip, a weekly spin-off, happening on every Tuesday with a different lineup each week week. Always current, quality music, great sound, great staff, though bit overpriced. But it feels very cool to dance over the river.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
