Segway Hungary, the oldest Segway tour provider in Hungary is happy to offer the wonderful experience of riding around our beautiful capital on the most amazing, most inginous, most fascinating and most fun to drive vehicles. Not only you can glide through the nice pedestrian streets, parks and places of Budapest without getting tired of walking, or without being closed behind the windows of a sightseeing bus, but you also get from us professional guiding, historical and current-day information, great photo opportunities and client orientated, personalized service. We always try to make make up the tours following the needs of our clients.

Such a great way of seeing different parts of the city. I opted for the Castle tour (2 hours although actually ended up more like 3!) and joined a mixed group of English and Hungarians. The guide did a good job of teaching us how to safely use the Segways and of telling us about the various sights we saw... More

We wanted to see part of the City in a different way. So booked a 2 hr downtown tour with them. Excellent guide 'Stephen' showed us the basics as neither of us had driven/ rode one before. After our training we were off around the streets and sights dodging pedestrians and cars for a great and informed tour of the... More

My son and myself were in Budapest for the Hunagarian Grand Prix 2015. And after a fantastic weekend, had a few hours to spare on the Monday before our return flight. We decided to go on the 2hr Buda Castle Segway tour with this company, and boy are we glad we did, What a fantastic way to see the city,... More

Although it was one of the hottest days in Budapest this summer, it did not stop us from doing a segway tour of the city. The staff did a great lesson on how to use the segway to ensure our safety. Martin was our guide, and he did a great job of telling us about Budapest's rich culture! We could... More

Took the Segway city tour yesterday and had a very pleasant experience even though it started to pour half way. Our guide, Andros, was most accommodating. We were a little late due to traffic but he came back to look for us and showed us the different monuments and building with detailed explanation of the history. Highly recommended.

Good way to see a lot of the city in a short period of time. If you want to have fun riding a Segway through this beautiful city, navigating busy and sometimes steep paths then this trip is probably for you. There was not as much historical information or context given to what we were looking at in comparison with... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
