On a fine day there are great views of both sides of Danube. Views from different locations. Several ways and tracks to go up. long climb up, but discovered on arrival that there is a road up! nice views, but fishermans bastion has better ones. museum at top would be interesting if you were interested in war history More

Well, this was actually pretty nice place to go. Some tips: - Climb there, don't use tourist busses. - Go to the bunker museum. - Take the camera with you and take pictures from whole city. More

Painfull walk from the bottom but up it was quite boring nice views etc. Take the bus down moore fun and I ended up eating some nice indianfood for less than 10E for 2 ppl. More

This is not for the faint of heart, it's steep. It takes a while to climb especially in hot weather. I think it's worth it, the views are great. I wouldn't recommend climbing up at night by yourself, I did have some creepy men kind of just...hanging out and staring at me and other women which skeeved me out a... More

Our first evening in town and after a great meal, we wandered across to Buda and did the climb. I was out of shape and couldn't keep up with my friends' pace but finally made it to the top to enjoy the lights of both sides of the Danube. A must for anyone visiting this beautiful city. More
