Saw madame Butterlfy - good opera but no English subtitles - so be familiar with the story. The interior is very beautiful! I can recommend this to everyone - also no opera lovers! More

A small, marvelous opera house. Easy access by subway, a classic, beautiful venue with great acoustics. Enjoyed many great performances here. More

We were only in Budapest for a day and thought we would check out the highly recommended opera. We thought we would do one of the tours they give most days at 3 or 4 pm. joined the Engllsh speaking group for tour, didn't hear a word as at least three other groups all going round at the same time talking in different languages. Didn't go behind scenes. More

Amazing building, absolutely stunning. Even seats in a box were cheap. If you don't dress up a bit though you may end up feeling a bit scruffy. I know I did in my tshirt and jeans! More
