Food was good and view was unbeatable. They had live music part of the time as well - very enjoyable! The walk on the embankment felt quite safe so don't be concerned.

Combined with a visit to the Parliament building nearby, the Duna Korzo is guaranteed to make you smile, despite the somewhat sombre 'shoes memorial'. The views across the wide river are quite breathtaking. Interesting sculptures dot the walkway. We were there on a mildly wet evening, and somehow that made the experience even better.

This area looks great as the sun goes down. The Chain Bridge and Buda Castle on the other side of the Danube are nicely lit up and you get good reflections for photographs. There is also the Little Princess statue on the railings and the No 2 Tram running alongside the embankment.

Our hotel was on Dunakorzo. It is a nice place for strolling with the chain bridge and shoes on danube monument nearby and a tram running in the background. The views of the buda hill are great and is boon for photographers for night photography. It is tricky to find a spot for the night shots but get onto the... More

Look no further, people. Some of the best views Budapest are from this walkway facing the Castle Hill area. Where is it? Between the Elisabeth Bridge and the iconic Chain Bridge. You can stroll aimlessly here as do many locals. Take in views across the river of Buda: Gellert hill, topped with a very distinctive monument; the Royal Palace is... More

The Duna-Korzo is a walkway along the Danube River on the Buda side that is an enjoyable place to find during trips to Budapest. Here you can enjoy an attractive walk which passes important buildings, cafes, riverboats moored in the Danube as well as one of the iconic images of Budapest, the Little Princess (Kiskirálylány) statue sitting on the railings... Across the Danube river to the Buda side - a sweeping beautiful view, passing several upscale hotels, restaurants and cafes. This pleasant elevated walkway is much less crowded than Vaci Utca.
