Stunning views - really photogenic - loved it!!! Bit of a tourist trap but worth it!!! Got choice of shops & restaurants, too.

Stunning View, good restaurant, not much significant history. The vendors were more expensive than those in the square or city markets.

Good views from this hill, Buda Castle is right next door to the Office of the President of Hungary where you can see the changing of the guard, plus up there was also a food festive which was nice.

This is definitely worth the hike up to the top. I was shocked to find a small village within the castle grounds - shops, restaurants, and an open market. We took the "hop on hop off" bus and thought it would be a quick stopover but ended up spending several hours just wandering around, drinking a beer, and enjoying the spectacular vistas. Best place to see Budapest from higher ground, and when you are there don't miss best strudels in Budapest at Retesvar Cukrazdsa in small hall way just before Mathias church.
