Definitely worth a stop. We didn't realize there was a section that you needed to pay to visit so we just stayed along the bottom. The view is fantastic - you can get great pictures of Pest and Parliament. There are a lot of tourists around as you would expect but still a nice visit. more

It looks like something out of a fairy tail and offers great views of the city. There were a lot of tourists there but you can pay 400 HUF to go up onto the wall for even better (and more importantly uncrouded) views. Fisherman's Bastion didn't feature anything spectacular, but the view of the Parliament which we got from the top was beautiful, made even more so by the beautiful weather. more

One of the most recognizable landmarks of Budapest, Fisherman's Bastion looks like something from Disney Land. It's fun to walk around and the views are great. I've read in a couple of places that there is a fee to get to parts of it. I'm not sure if I missed something or if it's just because I went off season... more

Really not worthwhile.... The only thing, one gets from entering the bastion is just the view of the other side of the river - - particularly, the Parliament Building and CHain Bridge. However, one can have the same view without entering(and therefore, paying) into the Fisherman Bastion!!!! more
