Walked from the funicular , saw the cash desks and dutifully paid, but then realised the best view is farther along, and it's free. ( go as far as you can along the bastion wall until you see a small tower. Climb this. There's a cafe right at the top, but no pressure to buy, though you could pat peanuts... More

I have visited it several times. It offers great views of the Parliament, Danube and Pesta. In the last 2 years they have introduced an entrance fee - although it used to be free. The tax si rather silly, as it only applies to a portions of the wall - but you can see the rest of it for free!... More

Amazing views of Pest! Will always be a very special place for me as on Saturday this was the location of where I got engaged!! A tip - for those going in the evenings the top section is open and free. Well worth it as the views at night of the parliament and various bridges crossing the Duna River are... More

Great overlook spot but there's an enclosed cafe taking up the lower viewing area, and you have to pay to access the top part. Still you can see the river and Pest by peeking through the railings along the side. More

Don't pay the extra to visit. It only gives you access to an extra terrace and the rest is free ! More

A great place for that perfect holiday photo. You can see the whole city from up there. We really like this place and church right next to it. Actually the whole area around the castle was amazing. You must visit here. More
